Gone Sovereign by Stone Sour hits as blue pyro blasts from everywhere in the arena... and Payback is live! We go to Zach Davis and Shannan Lerch, as always.
Zach Davis: Welcome to Payback! Zach Davis here with Shannan Lerch, and what a show we have tonight.
Shannan Lerch: Eric Price might as well be called Mr. PPV, because this is his first match since our last PPV, One. And he's up against the owner of the company, Jonny Fly.
Zach Davis: Either way, after this match, Eric Price is returning to the WCF. If Fly wins, he gets to write the terms of Eric's contract. However, if Eric wins, the Pantheon members lose their cabinet positions!
Shannan Lerch: Eric Price is public enemy number one. Not only did he beat Jeff Purse at One, but presumably, he's the one that ran Jeff down... yeah. This is going to be a big one.
Zach Davis: While the Title isn't on the line there, Titles ARE on the line in several other matches... including our Hardcore Title match, where Nathan von Liebert faces Roy Speede.
Shannan Lerch: Roy Speede is the longest reigning Champion in WCF right now and he's defended against all comers. However, to say Nathan von Liebert is on a hot streak would be an understatement. It's not just a "streak" anymore, he's one of the top men in the company, period.
Zach Davis: This is defintely Speede's toughest Title defense, no doubt. After what Nathan von Liebert did to Frank Patrick Venable... I hope Speede wins it.
Shannan Lerch: We've also got the Tag Team Titles on the line in a One rematch! The Homegrown Players get another shot against the team of Odin Balfore and Benjamin Atreyu, the Champions.
Zach Davis: They're not a cohesive team, to say the least, but that hasn't stopped them from dominating most everyone they've been in the ring with. If the Players want those belts, they're damn well going to have to work for them.
Shannan Lerch: Skyler Striker has received his WCF contract thanks to Jonny Fly, and now he's directing his energy wherever Fly points him. And he's pointed him at the United States Champion, Stuart Slane.
Zach Davis: Starting at One, we've seen Christopher Kane and Scott Savage repeatedly attacked by mysterious men in white. Somehow, they've been allowed the right to fight these men in a WCF ring.
Shannan Lerch: I really can't wait to find out what exactly is going on here, though we'll see if we actually find out any answers or not.
Zach Davis: The Television Title is on the line as the NEW Television Champion, Sarah Twilight, faces Morientes. Morientes is very new here, but he's undefeated so far.
Shannan Lerch: Sarah Twilight, though... she defeated Synn, which was no easy feat, and she too has been undefeated since she returned. And she will continue to be, until she loses that Title. Whoever beats her will have the honor of saying he ended her streak AND took the Television Title from her. Could that be Morientes?
Zach Davis: The former Television Champion, Terry "Synn" Roberts, is facing Vengeance, the man that's been tormenting Synn for several weeks now. Can't wait to see how THAT plays out.
Shannan Lerch: Kale Windsor took the People's Title from Tek at One, but now Tek's tag team partner, Steeltoe Joe, is coming after that belt. Can Joe take it back for Prophecy?
Zach Davis: Davey Ortega has been away from WCF for several years now, but he's back... only to be faced with a woman he knows very well, Freya Kane.
Shannan Lerch: Jay Price returns to the ring, facing The Ninja! I hope The Ninja kills him.
Zach Davis: We expected Doc Henry and Southern Discomfort to face Adam Young and his band of misfits, but Henry took Young and co. out of action last week. Now they're facing the ragtag team of Blizzard, Santiago, and Gable.
Shannan Lerch: A bizarre team, to say the least. I doubt any of those three are too happy about it.
Zach Davis: We'll see the team of Jaguar-F and G-Money once again, facing the O'Clery Brothers, and apparently a set of mystery opponents. I wonder who those could be?
Shannan Lerch: Whenever we have a mystery, it's bound to be good.
Zach Davis: And we have a special opening attraction, too! Let's get right to it.
Zach Davis: Welcome everybody to the Social Network Pre Show match up tonight.
Shannan Lerch: We have our self a four way match.
Zach Davis: In the ring is Cryboy McEmo, The Law, John Smith, and Rancid!
Shannan Lerch: The crowd still filling into tonight's arena as we are just fifteen minutes from the start of the action-packed ppv from Wrestling Championship Federation.
The bell sounds as the four men stare each other down. Smith gets in a few punches on Rancid as the Law snapmare take downs McEmo.
Zach Davis: Both men off to a great sta..
The lights flicker before going dark. The crowd begins to buzz. Strobe effects work in and we see a pony-tailed man on the stage. The spotlight hits.
Shannan Lerch: Hey, is that Marv or something or another from the other night!?
Zach Davis: It sure is!
Marvin Jefferies: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! Welcome to Wrestling Championship Federations night of surprises! In fact, this is the biggest surprise of them all!
Marvin has a hold of a ring with two chains attached to them. The chains are connected to something behind the curtain.
Marvin Jefferies: Does anyone want to see the fantastic, the amazing, the most impressive superstar in WCF!?
Marvin Jefferies: Come on Dino!
Marvin begins to walk down the ramp dragging the chains and Dino steps onto the stage as the chains are attached to a ring around each of his wrists. Dino, very zombie like, walks down the ramp a few paces behind Marvin.
Marvin Jefferies: It's a grand day for all of us here, well, except for you four men. You see something so small happens days, or even weeks ago that has changed the course of your guys destiny. Your destiny is now in the hands of Dino. You see, you're not in a four way match now... now you guys must fight for your life against my boy Dino.
Another half ass pop.
Marvin Jefferies: Dino... ATTACK!
Dino wakes up and thrusts his arms and breaks free from the rings snapping them in half. John Smith quickly runs to the ropes and planchas over them but Dino catches him. Rancid has the same idea and jumps over the ropes but Dino catches him too...
Zach Davis: WOW! LOOK AT HIS STRENGTH!
Dino struggles for a second before lifting both men up and then throwing them back into the ring. Smith through the middle rope, Rancid over the top rope. Dino leaps to the apron in a single vertical jump. CryBoy is not wanting to get anywhere near him, but The Law shoves him into Dino's direction. CryBoy is met with a serious clothesline from Dino who has still yet to get into the ring. Dino bends through the ropes and The Law kicks Dino in the gut. Then hard punches to the back and the head. A flurry of rights and lefts. Dino looks at The Law as if he's the stupidest man in the world. The Law exhales just as Dino spears The Law with the stiffest spear we've seen in years. John Smith turns around and Dino hits him with a clothesline from hell.
Shannan Lerch: MY GOD!
Zach Davis: Who is this man, and why is he destroying more bodies?!
Shannan Lerch: We need to learn what the hell is up with Marvin Jefferies and Dino Bomb.
Rancid gets to his feet as Dino picks him up with both hands and presses him into the air... Dino walks around the ring before he just takes Rancid's body from the press position into the vertical suplex position, and now Rancid is hanging upside down..
Zach Davis: Where the hell does that kind of strength come from!?
Dino snaps into a sit-out brainbuster where Rancid bounces off the shoulder of Dino. Rancid is laid out near one of the corners of the ring. The Law runs and springboards off the middle rope, 180s and is caught by Dino in a crossbody position. Dino swings The Law around and turns it into a sick spinebuster! John Smith runs into a Dino boot just as he was getting up. CryBoy stands up and the crowd is chanting "DINO! DINO! DINO! DINO!" CryBoy starts to cry as Dino stops in his tracks. Dino slowly turns his head sideways staring at CryBoy.
Shannan Lerch: Is Dino feeling some sort of sympathy for CryBoy?
Dino then bicycle kicks CryBoy in the chest sending him backwards into the corner turnbuckle before sliding down to his ass.
Zach Davis: Nope.
Dino then bends forward and grabs CryBoy by the legs and picks him up into the power bomb position and slams him down with a thunderous power bomb. He then, without letting go, picks up CryBoy one more time and power bombs him to the outside from inside the ring!
Zach Davis: WHOA WHOA !!
Shannan Lerch: Oh my! Cry Boy can be hurt! For real!!
The crowd begins a small "holy shit" chant. Dino turns around and John Thomas stumbles forward into another sit-out brainbuster off the shoulder of Dino. Dino turns and notices Marvin yelling for him. Marvin yells "Listen Dino. Look at me."
Zach Davis: Dino has some sort of connection with Marvin. Very strange.
Marvin yells to him. "One more move. Go for the kill!"
The Law is the only one still breathing and gets to his feet. The crowd chants Dino as he walks closer to The Law. Dino grabs the Law by his throat and walks him backwards into the corner pressing Law against the turnbuckles. Dino then lifts Law up and sets him on the top rope. The Law is trying to fight against it, but just can't muster up the strength. Dino then gets out of the ring and stands on the apron before climbing up the turnbuckle. He turns Law towards him and picks him up for a suplex..
Shannan Lerch: NO WAY NO WAY
Zach Davis: OH MY GAWD!
Dino leaps off and hits a sitout brainbuster neck breaker on The Law from the top rope! The Law bounces off Dinos shoulder and crashes to the ring and begins to shake wildly as if every bone in his body might be broken in half.
Marvin Jefferies: DINO! DINO! YOU ARE FINISHED. GET BACK HERE NOW.
Dino stops and looks at Marvin. The crowd kind of boos because Dino is done causing damage on WCF's entry level superstars. Dino steps out of the ring and Marvin grabs Dino by the arm and walks him up the ramp calming Dino down.
Zach Davis: What the hell is going on with those two!?
Shannan Lerch: What is that move called? Why the hell is he destroying random superstars!?
Zach Davis: Who is listening to us right now in the truck, can we get someone to try and interview them right now.
Shannnan Lerch: I don't think anyone heard that, Zach.
Zach Davis: Listen, someone, in the truck, the back, someone needs to get a camera, a microphone and interview Marvin. We need to know who the hell that is, and who gave him a WCF contract.
Shannan Lerch: Wow, Zach. As our officials try to clean up the mess and help these poor stars to the back, let's take a look back at our glorious One pay per view from just a few weeks ago.
As we come back from commercial, Jaguar-F, G-Money, and the O'Clery Brothers are already in the ring.
Zach Davis: We're scheduled to have some mystery opponents here tonight... where are they?
The O'Clery's and Jaguar-F are all looking towards the entryway, waiting for the mystery... until G-Money has had enough. He runs at the O'Clery's, attacking both of them. The bell sounds as he does!
Shannan Lerch: Huh. So much for that, I guess.
G-Money throws Reece out of the ring before throwing Rory to the ropes. As Rory comes back, G-Money hits him with a Standing Dropkick. Rory goes down and G-Money picks him back up, hitting a Neckbreaker.
Zach Davis: G-Money very explosive here right out of the gate. Not waiting for the so called mystery opponents, and taking it right to the O'Clery's.
G-Money backs up, waiting for Rory to get to his feet. Rory's up, groggy.. G-Money runs at him and knees him in his left temple!
Shannan Lerch: THE KING HIT!
Rory O'Clery stumbles back, not going down but totally dazed. G-Money grabs him and hits his Punk Bitch Killer move!
Zach Davis: PBK! PUNK! BITCH! KILLER! HE HITS IT!
G-Money decks Reece before pinning Rory.
Shannan Lerch: Aanndd there it is. G-Money single handedly gets the victory here!
Zach Davis: Still not sure about that supposed mystery opponent-
Two very quick muted electric guitar strikes echo out.
The majority, of the crowd, in the American Airlines Arena quickly stand up and start to look around. A sound of someone knocking into a vinyl record player, causing the needle to scratch the record. That causes more people to look around, as the murmur of curiosity gets louder. SILENCE....
Zach Davis: NOT THIS AGAIN!!
Shannan Lerch: I hope we find out, who is behind all this.
Zach Davis: It appears these past couple of weeks have been clues, hints of something.
Shannan Lerch: Clues of what?!
Zach Davis: Your guess is good as mine, Shannan.
"CLICK... CLICK... BOOM!"
That causes a few thousand people to scream out with cheers.
Zach Davis: Maybe the WCF Galaxy knows something more than we do.
Shannan Lerch: Maybe they heard or saw something on the internet.
The music changes...
"UP ALL NIGHT... SLEEP ALL DAY!! UP ALL NIGHT... SLEEP ALL DAY!! "
After the few brief seconds of those sounds bites... several white stars with a red anarchy symbols on them, are seen shining and moving around in the interior of the arena.
Zach Davis: What does this all-l-l mean?! I don't have an idea, at all!
Shannan Lerch: Me neither. But, all this seems very familiar!
Blue Bicycle brand playing cards start to fall from the ceiling.
Zach Davis: Here we go with the playing cards.
Shannan Lerch: There's something not right here!! I've got a bad feeling about this!!
As the cards continue to fall, some people begin to look at the back, of the cards. The Bicycle symbol IS there with two separate circles with an angel riding a bike in each of the circles.
Zach Davis: See Shannan there is absolutely nothing on these cards!
Shannan Lerch: I can see that, Zach.
As Zach and Shannan are about to find out...
Zach Davis: I don't have a clue!! WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN?!?!
The crowd buzzes with confusion....
But something strange happens.... Turkish symbolism starts to rotate around the arena as "Blind" by Korn blares out from the arena's speakers....
A guitar riff begins to play....
All those Saturdays when kids go out and play
All this, I seek, I find, push the envelope to the line
Click, click, boom
The crowd roars with explosive cheers.
Zach Davis: what is the crowd cheering about. I haven't seen anything!!
Shannan Lerch: Me neither, Zach! But, I'm sure we're about to find out!!
The crowd continues to stir... WHAM!! Ace Slaughter walks through and walks onto the stage.
Zach Davis: HOLY SHIT, SHANNAN!!
Shannan Lerch: Zach!!
Zach Davis: Again I'll say it again... HOLY SHIT!! IT'S ACE FREAKIN' SLAUGHTER?!?
Shannan Lerch: If he's here, what happened to Oblivion?!?
Zach Davis: Folks, if you're confused. Ace slaughter came here to WCF in the fall of 2009. Then by some strange occurrences, Slaughter began to change drastically. He started to have little people and wild looking women around him. then one day Slaughter and his Society changed and The Darkness began. Slaughter, who had been known to have several psychological problems began to talk as a creature named Oblivion.
Shannan Lerch: Oblivion had been pursued by the mental hospital, to bring him back, but IT, as Oblivion liked to be called, fought against The Facility. About a month ago, Oblivion seemed to fall off the planet and seemed to obliterated by the mental hospital that had been trying to "save" The Monster.
Zach Davis: Now, after some time, Ace Slaughter appears and no Oblivion.
Ace Slaughter begins to act like his old self. Slaughter jumps around, getting the crowd crazy, all hyped up. Ace Slaughter begins to slowly bounce around, as he slowly walks down the entrance ramp, slapping the fans' hands. The American Airlines Arena is going absolutely crazy.
Zach Davis: Holy cow, Shannan Lerch! I can barely here myself speak.
Shannan Lerch: Maybe that is a good thing!!
Zach Davis: HEY!! What?!?
As Ace slaughter continues to walk down the entrance ramp, Blind by Korn begins to play. Oceb Aughion steps out.
Zach Davis/Shannan Lerch: WHAT THE HELL?!?!
Ace Slaughter turns around and looks up the entrance ramp and see The Turkish Terror.
Zach Davis: I get it now!!
Shannan Lerch: It all makes sense now!! All those clues!! Click...click boom that was Slaughter's music. The playing cards.... "ACE" Slaughter. Then "UP ALL NIGHT AND SLEEP ALL DAY", that was done by the rock group slaughter.
Zach Davis: But what about Oceb Aughion?!
Shannan Lerch: Cagatay Senturk, that appeared on Slam, last week, he is Oceb Aughion's manager.
Zach Davis: I think we need to explain something. Oblivion was terrorizing WCF around the end of 2010, when he disappeared, then Oceb Aughion appeared. then after awhile, it came out that Oceb Aughion WAS Oblivion!! But with Ace Slaughter who became Oblivion and we see Aughion, wgo Oblivion was.... HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL ARE THEY APPEARING AT THE SAME TIME!!
Shannan Lerch: I am as shocked as you are, Zach. as well as these WCF diehards.
The crowd gets REAL confused, as Zach and Shannon explain everything about Slaughter and Aughion. Then the arena gets chilly...
Shannan Lerch: Damn!! did it just get real cold, in here?!?
The crowd gasps, as a group of creepy individuals zoom past the announcer's table and rush past Aughion.
Zach Davis: WHAT IN THE HELL?!?
As the group of dark dressed individuals rush past Oceb Aughion, blood is splattered on the first three rows. The people, that are in the first few rows, begin to scream out in complete absolute horror. Children huddle with their parents, while being covered in a red goo. Women scream out in horror. Some women look as if they have gone insane, as their eyes are extremely wide open, with their makeup smeared. Their hands shaking in fear.
Zach Davis: AUGHION IS GONE!!
Slaughter looks around in shock, but continues to hype up the crowd. Slaughter gets in the center of the ring and the arena begins to shake and gets dark...
The middle of the ring opes up and Ace looks down but smiles while looking ahead. Then... WHAM!!!... SLAUGHTER FALLS THROUGH THE HOLE! Sounds are being heard. Screams echo throughout the arena. Slaughter tries to escape from under the ring. Slaughter screams out in horrific pain, as parts of his mask is nearly torn off his scarred up face. The Superstar tries to grip the ringside mats, but his bloody, cracked and torn fingernails cannot grip the ringside mats and is dragged under the ring. Remnants of his fingernails remain in the ringside mats. Blood sprays everywhere. Arena goes dark.
Zach Davis: HOLY FUCK!! I'LL SAY IT AGAIN...HO-O-OLLLY FU-U-U-UCK!!! WHAT HAVE WE BEEN WITNESSING AGAIN?!?! OCEB AUGHION AND ACE SLAUGHTER HAVE BEEN OBLITERATED!!
The crowd screams and the lights come back on and standing there in the center of the ring is...
Shannan Lerch: O-O-O-OHHHH MY-Y-Y-YYY-Y GOO-O-OOO-ODD-D-D!!!
Zach Davis: OH MY GOD!! IT'S OBLIVION!!!!
The Monster stands there looking around... Oblivion slowly sneers as IT stares at Jaguar F, G-Money and The O'Clery Brothers.
Zach Davis: RU-U-U-UN!!!
The crowd: OBLIVION IS GONNA KILL YOU!!!
Oblivion charges at Jaguar F....
Shannan Lerch: Oblivion nearly decapitated Jaguar F with that massive Clothesline from Hell!!
G-Money and O'Clery Brothers charge at Oblivion, who grabs G-Money and...
Zach Davis:"Falling Doctor" gutwrench powerbomb!!
The Dark One grabs for Reece O'Cleary and nails him with a fireman's carry cutter!
Shannan Lerch: 5150!!!
Rory O'Cleary charges at Oblivion, but The Monster just punches him hard in the face and grab proceeding to nail him with a inverted suplex into a stunner!!
Zach Davis: SOULTAKER!!
Shannan Lerch: Oblivion has annihilated everyone!! Everyone is completely knocked out!!
Oblivion is standing in the middle, of the ring, as IT roars out. A dubstep mashup of Gregorian Chant by the Benedict Monks and Oblivion by Mastadon begins to play, as the arena's lights go out....
Zach Davis: Not again!!
....then comes back on again.
Shannan Lerch: Where in the hell is Oblivion?!?!
Zach Davis: But, we sure do know where Jaguar-F, G-Money and the O'Clery Brothers are at...
Shannan Lerch: Yea, face down with crap kicked out of them by The Monster Oblivion!!
Zach Davis: We'll be right back..
We cut backstage to hallway in front of the office of new WCF Owner, Jonny Fly. He is just about to enter the room when he pauses, noticing someone.
Newly crowned WCF Television Champion, Sarah Twilight approaches. Greeting him with a nod. She has a small manilla envelope with her.
Sarah Twilight: Jonny.
Jonny Fly: Sarah.
Fly removes his hand from the door and folds his arms, looking at Twilight.
Jonny Fly: Something I can help you with?
Sarah Twilight: Look, I know you have a lot on your plate right now with Eric Price. What happened with Jeff and all. But it's been two months now since I won the WCF Classic and I haven't gotten so much as a word from anyone on a World Championship opportunity. I mean, the Television Championship is nice and all.....
She pauses, looking at him, awaiting a response. Fly nods his head, sighing a bit.
Jonny Fly: Listen, Sarah. I would love to give you a World Championship match. I'd book the match for next week if I could. Do you think I want to turn down anyone from kicking Eric Price's ass? But my hands are tied in this situation. I have a booking committee that finalizes all of those decisions. Besides, this mess was caused by Seth Cretary, not me.
Sarah listens, nodding as Fly makes his points. She smirks a little bit at the mention of the new legal name Seth had adopted in order to get a position with the company.
Sarah Twilight: I understand your position. I just need to get a resolution here. I have been looking into a few things, and I'm sure there is something that can be done.
She offers up the envelope for Fly to have a look at. Fly looks down at his watch before nodding his head and unlocking the door to his office.
Jonny Fly: Alright. I have a few minutes. Step inside, let's talk.
The two step into the office and we head back to ringside.
Zach Davis: Sarah Twilight looking to collect on her WCF Classic victory. Rightfully so I think.
Shannan Lerch: But what will she receive, if anything at all?
Shannan Lerch: Time for our big six man tag match!
Zach Davis: This one had to be booked by Sethcretary, because the Blizzard/Gable/Santiago combination is one of the worst ever. It just doesn't make any damn sense.
unforgivin 2 by Metallica starts playing as the arena turns blue. White and blue pyros go off on the stage as low laying fog fills the entrance ramp Blizzard comes down slapping the hands of fans as he enters the ring he stands on the second turn buckle pointing at the fans then raising his arms as lights come back on.
“Things That You Oughta Know” by Chronic Future blasts over the P.A. System. John Gable enters through the current wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a leather jacket acting as if he was trying not to be noticed. He looks out to the crowd while trying to hide his face. He steps down the ramp as Humphrey Craig followed with a sign reading “future Oscar recipient”. John Gable slides into the ring and rips off his 'disguise'.
"King of my World" by Saliva cues up over the P.A. system and red strobe lights flood the entrance ramp. The silhouette of a man fills the tunnel and finally Michael Santiago emerges, drawing in the boos and cheers of the crowd as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He jumps up on the ring apron and climbs through the second rope, looking around at the fans filling the arena, Michael taunts the fans in the center of the ring as the music begins to fade out.
The Lights cut out inside the arena as a the jumbo-tron lights up with a rebel flag, then all of a sudden the sounds of Kick it in the Sticks start to resonate through out the arena
Welcome to the home of a hillbilly
All of a sudden Red Pyro shoots from the stage as John Thomas and Justin Turner walk onto the stage both of their women by their sides.
Our side of a barbed wire
Justin slides into the ring as John climbs the steps and into the ring.
Dr. Feelgood hits the speakers and as the main riff blasts through the arena, Doc, and Mary emerge on the stage, the Confederate Title around his waist. Looking around, he raises a fist in the air, the crowd cheering wildly as he then leads the way to the ring. Climbing up the steps, he holds the Ropes for Mary, who slinks lithely through. Doc steps trough the rooes and grins proudly as he pops the crowd drawing more cheers as Mary takes the belt.
Shannan Lerch: Everyone is here, and here we go.
Blizzard and Gable argue about who should start the match, as they both want to, but while they do Santiago starts it instead. Doc Henry starts it for his team.
Zach Davis: Henry versus Santiago!
Henry runs at Santiago and Spears him down. Henry bends down and hits him with a flurry of punches, followed by a flurry of repeated elbow drops. Henry climbs up to the top.
Shannan Lerch: Doc going high risk...
Henry flies off with a Flying Back Elbow to Santiago! Santiago goes down and Henry covers him.
Henry tags in Turner, while Santiago dives and tags in Blizzard. Turner and Blizzard meet in the middle of the ring and begin brawling with one another. Blizzard throws Turner to the ropes and then Clotheslines him back down. Turner stumbles up and Blizzard hits him with a Sidewalk Slam!
Zach Davis: Blizzard, firmly in control!
Blizzard stomps Turner several times before backing off and playing to the crowd. Turner stumbles up and Blizzard grabs him, hitting a Belly to Belly and tossing him into the other two men in his corner!
Shannan Lerch: Wow! He just knocked Roberts and Henry down to the floor!
Blizzard quickly lifts Turner up and hits a Powerbomb!
Zach Davis: Perfect Storm!
Blizzard pins Turner.
No!, Turner gets his foot on the ropes!
Shannan Lerch: This match was almost over early!
Blizzard picks Turner up but Turner uses his speed to break free and Dropkick him. Turner tags in Roberts as Blizzard turns and tags in Gable, reluctantly.
Zach Davis: Here comes the one and only John Gable.
Gable enters the ring as Roberts does. Roberts runs at Gable and goes for a Clothesline, Gable ducks it and kicks Roberts in the gut. The fans boo as Gable hits a Snap DDT!
Shannan Lerch: Boo all you want, but that was a good move.
Gable stomps Roberts a few times before backing off and taunting the fans, who begin to boo him. Gable sneers at them before running at Roberts and kneeing him in the face!
Zach Davis: Ouch! Right to the kisser!
Gable measures Roberts as he stumbles up again.. grabs him, and hits an Inverted Brainbuster into a Dragon Sleeper!
Shannan Lerch: CITY LIGHTS! GABLE HITS IT! AND ITS LOCKED IN!
Roberts wants to resist but before anyone can save him, he taps out!
Zach Davis: John Gable gets the victory for his team!
Gable begins to celebrate as Henry and Southern Discomfort regroup on the outside. Blizzard backs up the ramp and Santiago enter the ring and celebrate as well, though Gable ignores them.
Camera opens what appears to be sometime during the night before payback. The camera starts slowly focusing in on an old run down warehouse in the middle of a field with long grass. A full moon can be seen shining bright threw holes in the warehouse. Camera starts to pan toward a door that stands open only attached by a few rusty pieces of metal. In the door way stands The Unknown Masked Man wearing his usual black robe and black mask.
Unknown Masked Man: Over the past month or so you have seen me come and go. Although my actions may have been confusing to most they have served a grave purpose. The darkness has felt a weak soul over the past few months all though it was not clear who. I scouted for weeks to find a replacement for this weak soul I served letter after letter to those who were thought worthy of joining the darkness and all have failed except one man. Harkie was the one singled out soul who had a pr oven track record of living the darkness. He can breathe the fires of hell, He bring the pain, suffering, and violence that we require. He was chosen, He accepted, Harkie’s body and soul where buried and Vengeance was born.
The unknown masked man walks out of the door way on to the grass as the full moon shines bright over his black robe.
Unknown Masked Man: The lost soul that was once unknown is now known, Terry Roberts you have made the grave mistake to turn your back on the darkness that provided you success in the wrestling world. Terry you should have known leaving the darkness would not come without punishment. The darkness has casted upon you a warrior seeking revenge that will cause you great pain and suffering. Terry you may choose to fight this war with all your heart and soul but the darkness will not die. Terry Roberts will be destroyed or Synn will return to the darkness where he belongs those are your only choices.
The unknown masked man walks slowly out of the camera view as a lightning bolt strikes the roof of the worn down warehouse it engulfs in flames. The camera zooms in on the burning roof as Vengeance is seen standing on the roof laughing. The camera starts to fade in and out becoming fuzzy as the words TAP SNAP OR NAP, THE CHOICE IS YOURS YOU ARE NOT READY TO FACE THE DARKNESS FACE TO FACE in running red blood colored letters the screen goes black.
We come back from the promo for next month's PPV with a shot of the crowd, still pumped up from the action of the last match. Suddenly the lights in the arena go dark.
"Well I am ninja,
The song becomes slow to silence. Suddenly, Walls of Innocence by Egypt Central is blasted through the arena. Suddenly, pyro is blasted on stage. The Ninja is standing on the titantron, hands on hips with a belt. The crowd starts to cheer.
Kyle Steel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Japan, The Ninnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnja.
He glides down through the rafters. Nearby the ring, he lets go of the buckle and leaps down on the ring. He lands on his feet and gives the crowd an intense stare. He climbs up the turnbuckle and looks at the crowd. He raises his arm. He gets off and performs a kata. Then, he warms up.
Zach Davis: And up next we have a match that should be....I don't know, interesting?
Shannan Lerch: That's as good of a description as any I suppose.
Zach Davis: This match seems to have been made on the Fly, but nevertheless it should be something to see. Too very contrasting personalities and wrestling styles will be clashing in the ring.
"4 Words To Choke Upon" by Bullet For My Valentine hits the PA System as the lights in the arena drop. Strobe lights emanate from the stage area as Jay Price strolls out from the back, a bag of popcorn in one hand and a glass of wine in the other.
Kyle Steel: And introducing his opponent, from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he is the Chief Financial Officer of the WCF...Jay Price.
He'll take a moment to pause at the top of ramp and look out at the crowd before he makes his way down to the ring. He'll stop by the announce table and set down his popcorn and glass of wine before rolling into the ring under the bottom rope. He'll then walk over to the corner, hop up onto the top turnbuckle and take a seat until the match starts.
Zach Davis: You think Price would mind if I snagged a few pieces of his popcorn?
Shannan Lerch: Nah, go for it!
Referee Jack Dawson does the traditional pat down for foreign objects and then signals for the bell.
[DING! DING! DING!]
Price hops down from the turnbuckle and then he and The Ninja begin to circle each other. The Ninja looks like he wants to initiate a test of strength, to which Price agrees. They lock up and Price, as expected, takes control.
Shannan Lerch: The size difference between these two is something. I mean, Price isn't the biggest guy out there, but compared to The Ninja he looks like a giant.
Zach Davis: Wait a minute! Are you telling me that you slept with The Ninja too?
Shannan Lerch: What are you tal...OH COME ON! I was talking about how Price has got at least 9 inches on The Ninja.
Zach Davis: Really? Well good for Jay!
Shannan Lerch: I hate you Zach.
Price looks to be trying to turn the knuckles of The Ninja to dust as he squeezes. The Ninja, realizing that this isn't going the way he thought, throws out a stiff kick to the shin of Price. It isn't too effective but the second one does the job as Price lets go. The Ninja now keeping up the attack as he throws out a few more kicks to the legs. Price finally catches one of the kicks and then shoves The Ninja backward. The Ninja hits the mat, rolls and springs right back up to his feet. Price is rubbing his shins, obviously in discomfort. The Ninja isn't giving him a second to recover as he runs right at him. Price isn't getting caught, however, as he lifts The Ninja up and over the top rope. The Ninja however lands on the apron. With Price's back turned, The Ninja taps him on the shoulder. Price turns around and catches a roundhouse kick to the jaw.
Zach Davis: Oof! I think I saw a tooth fly.
Price hits the mat and The Ninja springboards over the top rope with a senton. The Ninja now quickly rolling Price over onto his back for the pin attempt.
Shannan Lerch: And Price kicks out right at two.
The Ninja up to his feet and he grabs for the head of Price. Price, however, is quick to counter as he punches The Ninja in the face and rolls him up for the pin attempt.
Zach Davis: And The Ninja kicks out at one and a half.
Both men right back up to their feet and Price tries to go for a tie-up. The Ninja ducks it though and comes up behind Price. The Ninja now with another series of kicks to the legs of Price and Price drops down to one knee. The Ninja now grabbing the head of Price and he drops him to the mat with a running bulldog. The Ninja again with a pin attempt.
Shannan Lerch: And again it's Price kicking out right at two.
Zach Davis: I must say this is not how I was expecting this match to go. The Ninja is on a roll and Price looks like he's lost in the ring.
The Ninja is the first one to his feet as Price tries to scramble for the ropes. The Ninja however grabs hold of his foot and tries to lock on an ankle lock. Price begins screaming out in pain as he claws the mat, trying to drag himself to the bottom rope.
Shannan Lerch: Oh the ankle lock! Price needs to either get out of this hold or tap out. Either way, he better do it fast.
Just as Price's fingertips brush the bottom rope, The Ninja pulls him back away from them. Price yells out in pain as The Ninja torques on the ankle harder.
Zach Davis: Price needs to tap out now. Pride may be important to him, but a busted ankle would have him sitting on the sideline for months.
Price finally pushes himself and with a burst of energy he rolls his whole body forward, sending The Ninja through the ropes and out onto the floor.
Shannan Lerch: What a counter!
Zach Davis: But look at Price. The damage has been done to that ankle.
As The Ninja shakes off being thrown out of the ring, Price is laying in the ring holding his ankle as the referee checks on him. Price waves him off when the referee asks if he wants to quit. The referee then begins his ten count as The Ninja gets up to his feet. Seeing Price still down, The Ninja lets the referee get to six before rolling back in the ring. As Price is trying to push himself back up, The Ninja grabs him by the head and pulls him up. The Ninja with a big backhand chop across the chest. And a second. Three more and Price's chest is lit up. The Ninja now sending Price into the ropes with an Irish whip. Price comes back and The Ninja goes for a back body drop but he telegraphs it. Price is able to get himself stopped in time and he hammers down on the back of The Ninja's head with his forearm. The Ninja drops down to one knee and Price grabs him by the head before dropping him with a DDT. Price with the pin attempt.
Shannan Lerch: And The Ninja gets his shoulder up at two.
Price rolls off of The Ninja and tries to rub some feeling into his ankle. With Price's back turned to him, The Ninja sits up and reaches up inside his sleeve. With the referee attending to Price, The Ninja pulls out a small, round ball of some sort and drops it to the ground. A dense white smoke begins to fill the ring as both Price and the referee begin coughing.
Zach Davis: What in the world? Did The Ninja just use a smoke bomb?
When the smoke finally clears both the referee and Price are shocked to find The Ninja has vanished. Price grabs the referee by the shirt and demands to know what the hell is going on.
Shannan Lerch: Just as Price was starting to look like he was going to make a comeback, The Ninja pops smoke and vanishes.
Zach Davis: Genius!
Suddenly Price lets go of the referee and yells out that he know where he is. Price limps over to the ropes and exits the ring. He lifts up the apron and looks under, fully expecting to find The Ninja. But of course he isn't. Frustrated, Price walks over to the announce table.
Jay Price: WHERE IS HE?
Zach Davis: I don't know Batman!
Price yells out in anger and bangs his fists on the table. He turns and walks back to the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Batman?
Zach Davis: Sorry, I saw The Dark Knight last night.
Suddenly Price stops and turns back toward the announce table. He grabs his bag of popcorn and inspects it. He then looks at Zach and then Shannan.
Jay Price: ...who ate my popcorn?
Zach Davis: Not I!
Shannan doesn't say anything, however she does point toward Zach. Price, in a blinding rage, reaches over and grabs Zach by his tie. Price pulls him close.
Jay Price: After I kill The Ninja...I'm coming for you.
Price then shoves Zach back into his seat. He starts to head back to the ring when he spots someone in the crowd wearing a Ninja mask. Price walks over to the barricade and reaches for the man. The man struggles but Price ends up ripping off his mask...only to reveal it's a regular fan. As Price and the fan argue, a cloud of smoke again fills the ring. When it clears, The Ninja is standing in the middle of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: The Ninja is back in the ring!
The Ninja scurries over to the corner and hops up onto the top rope. The fan that has been arguing with Price points toward The Ninja. Price turns and The Ninja leaps off with the Fist of Fury. It connects and Price drops to the ground. The crowd pops as The Ninja tries to pick up the larger Price and get him into the ring.
Zach Davis: The Ninja is going to do it!
Ninja pins Price, hooking the leg.
NO! PRICE KICKS OUT!
Shannan Lerch: Thought that was it!
Ninja lifts Price up... BUT PRICE HITS THE DOWNFALL OUT OF NOWHERE!
Zach Davis: DOWNFALL!
Price, panting heavily, lands on top of Ninja and hooks his leg.
Shannan Lerch: Aanndd there you have it. Jay Price picks up the victory.
Jay stands and gets his arm raised as we go to commercial.
The opening of "All I Want" by A Day To Remember begins as the crowd gets on their feet and the lights dim down. The vocals of Jeremy McKinnon begin to fill the arena as strobe lights begin to flash off and on making for an awesome effect. When the chorus comes on pyro explodes from the stage as sparks begins to rain down from the top of the tron screen as out steps Freya Kane on a single knee. She looks out at the crowd before popping up to her feet letting out a loud primal war scream. Freya begins her trek to the ring as people are cheering for her. She takes a walk around ringside before sliding into the ring. Once in she heads to the closest turnbuckle and goes to the top rope before throwing her arms out into the air as the lights come back to normal. She hops down and backs into said corner ready for her match to get underway.
Zach Davis: The lovely Freya Kane ready to do battle against Davey Ortega, a man who has a lot of history here in WCF.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like she has some new tights. Look nice.
Luicious Jackson: I heard she already off the market. Damn, I thought I had a chance this time.
''Sympathy for the Devil'' by the Rolling Stones fills the arena as the boos follow. Davey Ortega emerges from the back with a smile on his face. he slowly walks down the ramp, slowly raising his arms up as more boos come, which fuels his smile. He uses the stairs to get on the apron, casually getting into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Former GM and Owner of this company Davey Ortega is.
Luscious Jackson: He also appears to be a supporter of Eric Price too.
Zach Davis: Wish I could say that surprised me. Still this man feels as if he needs to destroy the Kane family in order to make himself feel better.
The two meet in the middle of the ring as Freya reaches into her tights for a moment and pulls out an unused tampon and throws it at Davey. Ortega begins to freak out and quickly takes a moment to leave the ring to calm himself after that. Freya is all smiles as Davey inhales and heads back into the ring. Both circle around one another as they lock up. This proves to be a mistake as Davey is able to over power Freya with ease and toss her down to the mat.
Lucious Jackson: See dis a man's world.
Zach Davis: But it ain't nothin' without a woman or a girl.
Shannan Lerch: James Brown? Really? I hate you two so much.
Freya looks a little pissed off as she slowly gets back to her feet. The two lock up again and this time Freya uses that quickness to go behind Davey and dropkick him in the back. He still stays on his feet as Freya elbows him right in the jaw with such force it knocks him down. The crowd roars loudly with approval as Freya looks happy with herself.
Zach Davis: Wow what a shot by Freya.
Shannan Lerch: Impressive.
Lucious Jackson: I think that was more out of shock than anything.
Davey rolls out of the ring for a moment as Freya shoves the ref aside and flies out of the ring with a somersault plancha that wipes out Davey! The crowd roars loudly as Freya takes a moment to high five some fans in the front row.
Shannan Lerch: Even more impressive. Women will be taking this place over and its about time.
Lucious Jackson: Please, with Eric Price as champ, that won't happen.
Zach Davis: And its that kind of thinking that halts progress. You're the worst.
Freya rolls back into the ring as Davey gets back in himself albeit it more slowly. Freya waits for him to get up before throwing a kick that connects with his head before she tries to give him an exploder suplex. Her attempts fail as she gets elbow in the face. Freya staggers as Davey quickly pokes her in the eyes.
Lucious Jackson: See, the man is outsmarting the woman.
Zach Davis: And he cheated. Come on now.
Shannan Lerch: Exactly.
Davey takes down Freya with a clothesline before stomping away on her. The crowd is booing loudly as Davey pulls up Freya by the hair and suplexes her before rolling up and hitting another suplex. A giant smile is on his face now as he covers.
And no. Freya kicks out. Davey shakes his head as he pulls Freya up by the hair yet again.
Zach Davis: Oh come on, he can't even stay off the hair.
Shannan Lerch: Disgusting act by Ortega not that anyone should be shocked.
Lucious Jackson: Dude does him. I respect that.
Ortega knees Freya in the stomach as hard as he can before doing it a second time. A DDT follows. Ortega isn't done there as he double stomps Freya right in the chest before then hitting a running senton. The crowd is hating this as Davey pulls Freya up and shoves her into a corner, driving a shoulder into her midsection repeatedly. Suddenly Freya moves Davey and headbutts him in the chest before taking a few steps back and hits a koppu kick.
Shannan Lerch: That came out of nowhere.
Lucious Jackson: She's cheating...
Zach Davis: Oh pft.
Freya hooks up Davey and boom! Death By Red Bull~! She covers right away hooking both legs.
The bell rings again Freya rolls off of Ortega looking disappointed at him. The crowd is going crazy for Freya as she stands up and heads out of the ring, high fiving fans, and giving her mom a hug in the front row.
Lucious Jackson: Son of a bitch. Her mom is fine though.
Zach Davis: That I can agree with. Great win for Freya Kane tonight though.
Shannan Lerch: And that finisher can come out of nowhere!
Zach Davis: Time for our People's Title match!
The Arena Goes Dark, and then all simultaneously “Barton Hollow” By The Civil Wars begins to play through the audio systems. The Entrance Gate area and Stage begin to flicker with White lights and neon blue flashes mixed in the flickers. Fog fills the gate area as Steeltoe Joe comes walking out of the midst of the Fog. Joe Stands on stage and plays to the crowds who are cheering for him. Joe then walks down the ramp and gets to the ring steps where he stops, does a Catholic Crucifix motion and then walks up the steps and into the ring. He climbs up two turnbuckles and does the same crucifix motion and raises his arms and points towards Heaven.
Shannan Lerch: Here is our challenger, the Holy Flame, Steeltoe Joe.
The song starts as the lights strobe to the beat. Smoke fills the entrance way just before Kale Windsor appears on the stage as the crowd reacts. Windsor stands at the edge of the rampway bowing his head for a moment before standing in a worship me type of taunting pose as several pyrotechnics go off behind him and he walks down the ramp way towards the ring. Half way down the ramp way, Windsor pauses for a moment before charging the ring and sliding in under the bottom rope. Kale then slithers to the middle of the ring on his stomach before standing to his feet and rushing to one of the post, jumping onto the middle rope as he does a bow and arrow type pose[i.e. Randy Orton] for a moment before hopping down and crossing the ring to the side ropes, where stands with one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle rope.
Shannan Lerch: There's the bell, and here we go!
Kale Windsor ducks a Clothesline attempt from Steeltoe Joe, and then fires off a series of stiff shots to his face. Joe reels several steps back and Windsor kicks him in the gut. Joe doubles over and Windsor hooks him for a DDT. He goes to hit it but Joe isn't worn down enough; Joe reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex!, releasing it!
Zach Davis: What incredible strength!
Windsor stumbles up and leans against the turnbuckle, Joe runs at him and Clotheslines him over it!, sending him flying to the outside. Joe climbs slowly out of the ring to stay on the attack, but Windsor is up and hits him with another shot to the head. Windsor grabs Joe and throws him into the steel ring steps!
Shannan Lerch: The bigger they are, the harder they fall!
Zach Davis: Not like your usual saying, "the bigger they are, the more I charge."
Shannan Lerch: HEY! I don't charge more if- ..err..
Joe crashes over the steps, flying over them from all the momentum and then holding his legs in pain. Windsor stays on his advantage, kicking at Joe's legs repeatedly. He then picks Joe up and rolls him into the ring. Windsor climbs onto the apron, Springboards over and hits an Elbow Drop.
Zach Davis: The Champ in control here, using his speed to his advantage.
Windsor follows up by hitting a Split Legged Moonsault!, into the pin!
No!, Steeltoe Joe powers out of it. Windsor gets up as Joe tries to work to his feet, but Windsor runs at him and hits another Elbow Drop, this time to the big man's head. Joe still keeps getting up, regardless, but Windsor hits him with a Spinning Heel Kick, taking him back down. Windsor begins climbing the top rope.
Shannan Lerch: Kale Windsor going high risk now!
Windsor flies off the top! Joe puts his knees up, but Windsor sees it midair and lands on his feet instead of hitting Joe. Windsor jumps and hits Joe with a Leg Drop instead, dazing him once more before jumping to the top and flying off again, hitting a Diving Headbutt!
Zach Davis: FLATLINE!
Windsor pins Steeltoe Joe, hooking the leg!
NO! Joe powers out again!
Shannan Lerch: Windsor has done a great job outthinking Joe, and using his speed to his advantage.
Zach Davis: It's going to take A LOT to keep the big man down long enough for the pinfall, though.
Windsor shifts gears now, putting Steeltoe Joe into a Dragon Sleeper.
Shannan Lerch: Windsor again controlling the match here, wearing Joe down... can Joe escape this?
Joe waves his arm, trying to get support from the fans. The fans begin chanting "JOE! JOE! JOE!"... and Steeltoe Joe begins working his way to his feet!
Zach Davis: The Holy Flame is alive!
Joe powers out of the Dragon Sleeper! Windsor has a look of shock on his face as he does. Joe throws Windsor to the ropes and then hits a Flapjack on the way back!
Shannan Lerch: Steeltoe Joe, on the attack!
Windsor hits the mat hard, and Joe measures him as he stands up. Once Windsor is to his feet Joe goes for a Big Boot, but Windsor ducks it! The two men turn to face another, Joe goes for another kick but Windsor catches his foot and hits a Dragonscrew Legwhip!
Zach Davis: Beautiful reversal!
Windsor quickly drops down and grabs Joe's head, going to lock him into a Crossface.
Shannan Lerch: FEEL MY PAIN! IF HE LOCKS THIS IN IT'S OVER!
Joe fights out of it with everything he has!, and doesn't let Windsor lock it in! Joe turns it into a roll up pin!
NO!, Windsor gets out of it now!
Zach Davis: We almost had a new Champion!
Both men get to their feet. Joe charges Windsor but Joe's legs are hurt, and this allows Windsor to sidestep him; Windsor then goes for a Twist of Fate!
Shannan Lerch: FINAL DESTINY!
But no!, Joe shoves him away! Windsor locks him for a Russian Legsweep but Joe elbows his way out of it, ducks a Spinning Heel Kick, then hooks Windsor and hits his Spinning Rock Bottom!
Zach Davis: THE BAPTISM! THE BAPTISM! HE HIT IT!
Joe drops and pins Windsor, hooking the leg.
Shannan Lerch: NEW CHAMPION! STEELTOE JOE HAS DONE IT!
The bell sounds. The ref grabs the People's Championship and is about to give it to Steeltoe Joe, but Kale Windsor grabs it and whacks Joe in the head with it!
Zach Davis: Hey! What the hell!?
Steeltoe Joe goes down as Kale Windsor looks down at him angrily. Joe begins stumbling to his feet, and Windsor locks him in for the Final Destiny onto the People's Title.
Zach Davis: This is uncalled for!
....UNTIL TEK HITS THE RING!
Shannan Lerch: TEK IS BACK!
Tek runs at Kale Windsor and Clotheslines him down! Windsor stumbles up and Tek hits him with a Enziguri into Shiranui!
Zach Davis: ROYAL FLUSH! That's his finisher!
Kale Windsor rolls out of the ring as Tek helps Steeltoe Joe to his feet. Joe hugs Tek as Tek hands him the People's Title.
Shannan Lerch: Steeltoe Joe has won the People's Title, and by the sound of this crowd I think they're firmly behind him! And Tek is back!
Backstage, the door to Seth Lerch's..errhm Seth Cretary's small, almost closet-like office is flung open, causing the former WCF Owner to nearly jump out of his own skin. Stacks of papers that were sitting in front of him on his desk fly about all over the place. And a large switchboard phone that constantly rings is knocked over as he is startled. The new secretary or 'sethcretary' to WCF has his hands full with countless loads of work. Standing in the doorway is WCF Television Champion, Sarah Twilight. Seth looks up, a bit disgruntled at the intrusion. Though he doesn't complain, he just picks the phone up from the floor and places it back on the desk. He looks a little confused as he asks.
Seth Cretary: Uh...can I help you?
Sarah places her hands on her hips, holding a folder in one hand and doesn't look very pleased. She gets right to the point as she shoots Seth a nasty glare.
Sarah Twilight: Yeah, Seth. You can. We're going to discuss my Classic victory and my World Championship shot...right fucking now!
Seth blinks a few times as she speaks. He shakes his head feverishly.
Seth Cretary: Uh...in case you hadn't noticed. I'm not in charge anymore. Go bother Fly with that crap.
Sarah throws the folder down on Seth's desk with force. Seth looks down at it, still puzzled.
Sarah Twilight: I've already spoken to Fly. Now I'm speaking to you.
Seth opens the folder which contains an official document from Jonny Fly himself, complete with WCF Letterhead and Fly's signature on the bottom of the page. It reads.
After a brief discussion with one of my employees, Sarah Twilight, it has come to my attention that there were matters unresolved by your administration. Twilight presents that she emerged victorious in the WCF Classic 2012 and was not compensated with reward for her victory. This administration was not in power at the time of said victory. Therefore, nor myself, or my booking committe are legally capable of rendering a decision on the matter.
I am leaving this responsibility to you, as it was you who had organized the Classic Tournament for 2012 and thus are responsible for rectifying this situation. I trust that you will make the right decision on the matter to ensure a smoothly operating workplace for my staff.
As Seth finished reading the document, he grins a bit, looking back up at Sarah.
Seth Cretary: That's easy, I'm not giving you anything! Nothing, you get nothing!
Sarah knocks whatever papers remaining in the stack from Seth's desk and she places her hands firmly on the surface, leaning in. She gets right in Seth's face.
Sarah Twilight: You know Seth. I don't work for you anymore...in fact, you don't have very much left, do you? And I could just take you to court. Drain every last dime from your pockets in legal fees. I can keep you in court for the next YEAR even. And how would it look Seth? Every other year that the tournament was held, the winner either was awarded the World Championship...or a shot at it over the next year. Even when it was a tag tourney, the tag titles were awarded. The ONE time a woman wins it, and you back out of that?
Seth backs off a bit as she gets in his face. But he responds
Seth Cretary: Hey! I made it clear when I started the Classic that the prize was a helicopter ride!
Sarah Twilight: In a helicopter that no longer exists. Aside from that Seth, you were purposely trying to drain all of the money out of the company to line your pockets. So all of that would be irrelevant. The FACTS would still be that every MALE who has won the singles classic, received either the World Title OR an unrestricted shot at it whenever they chose. That's what I want, Seth. And that is what I am going to get. An unrestricted opportunity at the World Title at a time of MY choosing. Otherwise, you'll just have to pay the consequences.
Seth stands up, pushing back his points now.
Seth Cretary: Take me to court then! I don't care!
Sarah smirks a bit, almost ready to laugh at this point.
Sarah Twilight: Seth, you really don't have a fucking clue, do you?
She slowly makes her way around the desk toward him.
Sarah Twilight: I said that I COULD take you to court...not that I would.
She grabs hold of him by the shirt and forcefully slams him against the wall. Her eyes glaring coldly at him as she tilts her head slightly, still smirking heavily.
Sarah Twilight: I would prefer to beat the living shit out of you Seth. I don't work for you...which means that right now, you aren't anything more than a sniveling little shit who is about to be hospitalized.
Seth looks almost ready to piss himself as she tries to respond.
Seth Cretary: Wait! What is it you want? We can work something out. Money? Shares in my helicopter company?
Sarah slams him into the wall again, growing very agitated.
Sarah Twilight: I told you. An unrestricted shot at the world championship at a time of my own choosing...NOT yours. I fucking earned it by winning the Classic, by remaining undefeated... and I am going to collect.
Sarah loosens up on Seth for a brief moment as she grabs the folder that she'd entered with. She forcefully shoves it into Seth's chest.
Sarah Twilight: The contract is there...in writing, that gives me what I have EARNED. Sign your fucking name to it and we're done here. Or...
Sarah clenches her fists, still glaring at him. Seth eyes her, knowing that she was serious.
Sarah Twilight: I am going to beat you within an inch of your life. I'll come back and do it again next week, and the week after, and the week after that. I will make your life a living HELL for the remainder of your pathetic existence. Sign the papers and I walk out of here with my title shot...and you get to keep your face in tact.
She continues to stare a hole through Seth, awaiting his response.
Seth Cretary: Know what? I don't even care. Whatever happens, it's Fly's problem now. Besides, you've got a Television Title to defend now, anyway, so what does it matter.
Seth signs the papers as Sarah smiles and we go back to ringside.
Zach Davis: Well Shannan, Payback is well underway and its been one hell of a Pay Per View.
Shannan Lerch: And we still have an entire card to go but here we are gunna get a slug fest in that of Synn Verse Vengeance.
The bell tolls twice in the start of the song. When the the first bell starts the lights go out in the arena and after the second bell pyros go off on the stage then fog fills the entrance ramp as red light fills the arena the music starts as Harkie slowly makes his way down to the ring as he gets in Harkie goes to the center looks up at the roof and slowly raises both arms pyros go off on all four turnbuckle poles as the arena lights come back on.
Zach Davis: Here comes Vengeance, a big man but Synns about the same size, All I know is these guys are going to tear each other apart!
The jumbo screens shower with static before bold red letters flash across them.
Hinder's "Save Me", accompanied by a near mesmerizing full sensory assault of decadent red purple and black strobing laser lights that foreshadows the arrival of Terry Roberts, brings the fans to their feet. 50 seconds later there are two massive wall of flames raining down onto as well as up from the main stage lasting 15 seconds, once the flames die down Terry steps into view from the billowing cloud of white smoke. Wearing a midnight black full length trench coat with red chest straps, Jiu-Jitsu gi styled black pants, purple MMA styled gloves and wrestling shoes. Looking up into the frenzied crowd he gives an arrogantly cocky smirk pointing to the ring as the screens flash more red letters.
Terry then takes a slow confident walk to the ring, once their he pulls out a black and red guitar, walks over to the nearest ringpost, raising the guitar stock blowing into it, creating an enormous fireball that floats high over the ring getting a big pop from the crowd. Putting the guitar in the ring corner Terry steps into the ring, standing in the corner with the guitar, taking off his non wrestling gear before crouching down as he stares coldly at his opponent. Putting his hands over his face, slowly sliding his fingers down so as not to streak his make up in a symblage of pulling his mask off to reveal SYNN before the bell rings.
Shannan Lerch: Vengeance is in the the ring, Synns in the ring...
The ref calls for the bell as the two men lock up in the middle of the ring. Synn quickly gets the upper hand with his shoot style, going behind and sweeping the legs out from Vengeance. Synn hurries to get the legs in hand for a submission but Vengeance boots him away and gets to his feet.
Zach Davis: And vengeance, booting Synn away buying some time.
Synn comes back with fury but Vengeance boots him down. Getting picked up, Synns forehead takes the brunt of Vengeances fists, stiff shot after stiff shot but Synn starts to battle back with fists of his own.
Shannan Lerch: A go behind by Synn and a German release suplex.
Vengeance gets dumped on his head as Synn takes control of the match again. Vengeance gets to a knee..
Zach Davis: Shinning wizard from Synn.
Synn picks up Vengeance and and hits a few elbow shots and goes to whip Vengeance into the corner turn buckle but Vengeance puts the breaks on and and reverses it. Synn crashes into the corner as Vengeance follows up and connects with a huge clothesline.
Shannan Lerch: Vengeance, tipping the scales in his favor.
Vengeance backs up again, charging full speed, going for spear but Synn moves in just the nick of time and Vengeance wraps his arm around the post. Synn waits for him to turn around...
Zach Davis: Green Mists!
Shannan Lerch: Vengeance is not hurt and blinded!
Synn unloads a series of kicks to weaken the legs of Vengeance, using his legs to keep his distance from Vengeance whose swinging wildly, trying to connect with a hay maker.
Shannan Lerch: Synn, taking to the roes now, as Vengeance is trying to get that green mist out of his eyes.
Zach Davis: Synn is up and he's calling for The Beta Highlight!.... ANNNDDD...
Shannan Lerch: NOOO!! Vengeance counters with a thunderous choke slam!
Zach Davis: Vengeance gets an arm ontop of Synn..
Shannan Lerch: Synn just beats the count! Kick out at two!
Vengeance gets to his feet and scoops Synn up into a piledriver but Synn manages to push off Vengeance, kicking him in the back of the knee and his a spike inverted DDT.
Zach Davis: Synn takes to the turnbuckle again... He launches...
Shannan Lerch: Thunderstruck!
Zach Davis: Somehow, someway, Vengeance kicks out!
Synn gets mad, picking up Vengeance and whipping him into the turn buckle...
Shannan Lerch: Pyscho Scorpion!
The ref counts...
Synn breaks before the five count.
Synn is doing all he can to inflict as punch high impact pain as he can. He picks up Vengeance and shoves him back into the corner with more lefts and rights. Vengeance absorbs some blows before battling back with a few shots of his own, tossing Synn back into the corner, he unleashes rights, lefts, knife edge chops.
Zach Davis: The ref tries to spit the two men apart, seeing that Synn couldnt defend himself.
Shannan Lerch: But whats Synn doing?
Zach Davis: He just pulled something from his tights... I dunno what it is but it can't be good.
Vengeance shoves past the ref, having heard enough of it.. He goes to pick up Synn from the buckle...
CROWD: HOLY SHIT... HOLY SHIT.. HOLY SHIT!
Shannan Lerch: WOW! Synn was obviously prepping a fireball to use on Vengeance but it back fired on him and both men are literally feeling the burn of that attack!
Zach Davis: I think that Synn took the brunt of it though because it was closer to him.
Both men stumble and claw, towards the middle of the ring, Vengeance having already been blinded by the mist from before but Synns face has nearly been incinerated. Vengeance seems to find his bearings first as Synn is still trying to recover..
Shannan Lerch: Be careful,be careful.. watch out...
Zach Davis: Too late. Vengeance has him scooped up, high on his shoulders..
Shannan Lerch: Last Rites Powerbomb..
Shannan Lerch: And Vengeance is successful here tonight against Synn. Synn who tried to use that fireball but it backfired and Vengeance was able to capitalize and pick up the win...
Zach Davis: What a night! And we're not slowing down anytime soon. Up next, the brand new WCF Television Champion, Sarah Twilight defends against newcomer, Morientes.
Shannan Lerch: This matchup taking place after Morientes earned the right to cchallenge for the TV Title after winning a contendership battle royal last week. Now, we had thought the winner of that contest would have been challenging Synn here tonight. However, his open challenge didn't turn out as well as he had planned.
Zach Davis: That's right, with the WCF fans voting via wcf.com, they chose The Mistress of Mischief to take on the man formerly known as Synn. Sarah emerged victorious in the contest and secured herself the Television Championship. This will be her first defense.
Shannan Lerch: From what little we have seen of him, Morientes seems to be a promising young star. He's looking to make a name for himself and he gets that opportunity here tonight. This will be his first pay per view event.
Zach Davis: Going to be quite a task for him. Sarah Twilight has been an roll since her return to the company in late October. She has yet to be pinned. And, she just secured the Television Championship, and has no intensions of letting it go anytime soon I'm sure.
Shanna Lerch: We hand it over to Kyle Steel to get this one started!
Kyle Steel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall...and it is for the WCF Television Championship!
The crowd roars with cheers. Suddenly, the clashing of two swords fills the arena for a couple of seconds as the lights dim, before the sound of a shotgun goes off. "Back For More" by Five Finger Death Punch starts to play as Morientes comes out from the back. Posing for the crowd for a few moments, the lights come back on as the first verse of the song is belted, and he makes his way to the ring, nodding at cheering fans. He takes a moment to chat one of them up along the way.
Kyle Steel: Introducing first...the challenger...From Madrid, Spain, weighing in at two hundred and twenty two pounds, he is "The Bull"... MORIENTES!!!
Morientes slides into the ring and raise his arms into the air for fan reaction. He then sheds his leather jacket in the middle of the ring, and throws it to the crowd. Next, he climbs up the upper left turnbuckle, gesturing to the crowd. After that, Morientes jumps back to the mat and starts stretching, awaiting the referee to start the match.
Kyle Steel: And his opponent....
The lights go out as a spotlight centers on stage. Piano chords begin a haunting melody, accompanied by heavy drum beats. The crowd begins to cheer MASSIVELY as the video wall displays the words THE ONLY ONE.
Kyle Steel: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, and weighing in at one hundred and forty two pounds, she is the reigning and defending WCF Television Champion...."The Mistress of Mischief" SARAH TWILIGHT!
Pyros shoot up from the stage as our melody finally kicks into guitar. "The Only One" by Evanescence continues to play as Sarah finally walks out onto the stage, Television Championship around her waist. She is greeted with deafening cheers and soaks them all in. The vibrant redhead confidently swaggers towards the ring and steps inside. Pyros now shoot off from the ring posts and Sarah takes to each turnbuckle in succession, pointing out toward the crowd and smiling. The cheers become even LOUDER. As the music continues, Sarah rolls outside of the ring and finds a young fan sitting at ringside. She removes her signature "You Don't Matter" tee shirt that she wears over her wrestling attire and gives it to the young fan before returning to the ring. She stands upon one of the turnbuckles, removing the championship and holding it skyward to another round of cheers as the music dies down.
Zach Davis: Both competitors looking ready to go. This one about to get under way.
Referee Emily Westbrook collects the Television Championship ahowing it to the challenger, Morientes, she then holds it high above her head showing it to the crowd to indicate that this was what was on the line. The bell rings.
Sarah and Morientes meet in the center of the ring and start with a collar and elbow tie up. The larger Morientes gains the advantage with a side headlock. Sarah shoves him off into the ropes. Morientes with a clothesline on the return, but a duck under by Sarah. Morientes spins around and is caught with a European uppercut thst staggers him a bit. Sarah takes him for an Irish whip to the turnbuckle but it is reversed and she instead is sent crashing into the corner.
Zach Davis: Quick back and forth action early on. Morientes with a submission background from what we understand. And Sarah Twilight having an extensive technical ground game as well.
Shannan Lerch: This may just come down to experience. And in that regard, the edge definitely goes to Sarah Twilight.
Morientes rushes the corner with a shoulder tackle, however, Sarah moves out of the way and instead, the Spaniard finds himself meeting ring post with his right shoulder as he lunges forward. He clutches his shoulder in agony as he slowly backs off of the mishap. Though he is given no repreive as he turns around into an armdrag takeover. Sarah follows up with an armbar, placing pressure on the shoulder he'd just injured.
Zach Davis: Oh and a misstep by Morientes! This isn't good for the newcomer as Sarah Twilight is taking full advantage.
Shannan Lerch: His arm has now become a target, and she is going to zero in on it. This spells trouble for the Spaniard as it will severely hinder his submission based approach.
Sarah holds his arm against the canvas. She pushes off of the canvas with her feet and sends her knee CRASHING down into his shoulder. Morientes groans upon impact. She repeats this twice more, harshly targeting his shoulder. She hauls him to his feet, and suddenly he strikes with a quick swinging neckbreaker. Sarah hits the canvas and this buys him some time, however he further agitates his own shoulder in the process.
Zach Davis: Quick thinking by Morientes. He needs to create some separation for the time being. Give himself a chance to work out that shoulder.
Shannan Lerch: I don't know that I agree with that. He needs to remain on the offensive. You don't give Sarah Twilight time to rest.
Morientes pushes himself back to his feet, trying to rotate his shoulder to get the kinks out. He does, however stay after Twilight as he brings her to her feet now. She responds with a rolling capture armbreaker that floors the Spaniard again and damages his shoulder even further. He writhes in pain as he stumbles back to his feet. Sarah is waiting and sends him HARD into the ring post shoulder first. This now having been the second time Morientes' shoulder had struck the steel.
He wobbles back after the impact, still clutching his shoulder as he is hooked up by both arms and planted to the canvas for a sit down tiger bomb. Sarah keeps him hooked for the pinfall attempt. Westbrook slides into position.
NO! Morientes shoots his shoulders up off of the canvas.
Zach Davis: Sarah Twilight showing the rookie no mercy at all! That was a close call there. Could have been over.
Shannan Lerch: She shouldn't show him any mercy. This is for the WCF Television Championship. She came here to fight and defend her championship. Morientes is just like any other competitor.
Zach Davis: That is very true. I'm sure he would take advantage if the situation had been reversed.
Morientes crawls to the ropes and begins pulling himself up. Sarah simultaneously out of the pinfall and back to her feet. She measures Morientes, waiting for him to make it back to his feet. As he does, he turns around into a stiff boot to the midsection. Sarah grabs him to lift him up.
Zach Davis: THE TWILIGHT ZONE! She's ending it early!
However, Morientes blocks the attempt by shoving his foot under the rope. He fires off a few shots to her ribs and she releases her grip. Morientes wastes no time, he grabs her for a belly to belly suplex and launches her up and over the top rope! She crashes to the floor below on the outside in front of the announce table.
Shannan Lerch: Morientes had that one scouted! He stays alive and now has a chance to mount an offensive!
Morientes rolls himself to the outside. Sarah is wobbly making it back to her feet. The Spaniard hoists her up and sends her back down with a harsh scoop slam on the outside mats. He groans and rotates his shoulder as it was still suffering the effects of the earlier onslaught. Westbrook is instructing him to get her back into the ring, but as Morientes looks around, he has other ideas in mind. He makes his way to the announce table and pulls the top off of it. He then removes the monitors and tosses them aside. Lerch and Davis both hop up from their seats and step off to either side of the table.
Zach Davis: Morientes has something big in mind here!
Shannan Lerch: This doesn't look like it's going to end up good.
Westbrook begins her ten count as Morientes hauls Sarah back to her feet, rolling her onto the announce table. He hits her with a forearm to the head for good measure.
Morientes rolls back into the ring and begins to climb the turnbuckle. The crowd looks on in awe as he stands precariously on the turnbuckle, balancing himself.
He takes a few steps onto the ropes, walking them like a tightrope as he lines himself up with the announce table. In a swift motion he drops down into the top rope split legged style and in springboarded off of the ropes and down toward the announce table!
Zach Davis: SPANISHSAULT! He's going for it ALL!
However, Sarah rolls herself out of the way JUST in time and the Spaniard CRASHES through the announer table as it collapses underneath him.
Crowd: Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!
Shannan Lerch: Morientes is OUT!
Zach Davis: And our table is kaput!
The dive from the tope breaks up the former count on Sarah, and Westbrook is forced to start another count on both stars.
Sarah rolls herself into the ring. Morientes is still out of it, his body strewn among plastic, wood and various debris after the crash. Sarah takes her time to recuperate as Morientes has not yet moved.
Zach Davis: If Morientes is counted out here, Sarah Twilight will retain the Television Championship. It doesn't look good for him at all.
Shannan Lerch: I think he knocked himself out cold trying to take that high risk. It didn't pay off.
Finally, there are signs of life as Morientes pushes the debris away from him. He slowly crawls toward the ring. Perhaps on instinct alone as he hears Westbrook's voice calling the count. He continues crawling reaching a hand up, trying to grab hold of the apron.
With no time to spare, he uses every ounce of strength he can muster to pull himself into the ring. Barely beating the count.
Zach Davis: I can't believe he made it!
Shannan Lerch: That might have been a foolish move as he is still VERY out of it.
Zach Davis: He might not last much longer here at all.
Morientes is definitely still out of it as he lays on the canvas, trying to regroup. Though he isn't given any time for that as Sarah drags him away from the ropes and into the center of the ring. She drops down over him for a pinfall. Westbrook in position.
NO! Morientes manages to get a shoulder up.
Zach Davis: Amazingly, Morientes still in this thing!
Shannan Lerch: This is all strategy at this point for Twilight. Every time he has to force his shoulders off the mat, he is expelling more energy.
Zach Davis: I don't know how much energy he could possibly have left after that crash out here.
Sarah hauls Morientes to his feet and hooks him up for a fisherman's suplex, hooking up the leg and she remains with it for the pinfall once again. Westbrook slides into position.
Again, Morientes manages to get his shoulder up!
Zach Davis: He continues to stay in this thing. What heart shown by the newcomer, Morientes.
Shannan Lerch: At some point you have to ask yourself if the heart is worth it? Live to fight another day.
Sarah grabs hold of the back of his head and hauls him again to his feet. She lifts him for another suplex, but he slides off of the attempt and instead grabs her waist, pulling her up and over for a German Suplex of his own. He keeps his hands locked and bridges up as her shoulders are flat on the canvas. Westbrook again makes the count.
NO! Sarah shoots her shoulder off the canvas.
Zach Davis: Ad a near fall for Morientes! That was out of nowhere!
Shannan Lerch: He still has some fight left in him after all!
Sarah rolls out of the attempt, a little dazed after the sudden tide change. Morientes is still suffering the effects of his missed dive. Twilight is first to her feet and as Morientes gets to his, she explodes at him with a burst clothesline. But he ducks it and instead grabs her for a Russian leg sweep.
Zach Davis: Morientes avoiding the closeline and he has Twilight down. He needs to capitalize here.
Shannan Lerch: But can he? He is still devastated after crashing into the announce table. I'm still devastated. Where am I going to set my diet coke?
Morientes wastes no time as he forces himself to his feet. He grabs hold of both ends of the top rope in the corneer and launches himself up into a splitlegged corkscrew moonsault. Trying for the ssecond time.
Zach Davis: SPANISHSAULT AGAIN!
Shannan Lerch: And this time he connects!
He crashes down into Twilight with perfect execution. After the impact, he hooks the leg, keeping her down for the pinfall.
NO! Sarah again shoots her shoulder off of the canvas. Morientes looks slightly stunned as he rolls off of the pinfall.
Zach Davis: Another near fall! Morientes bringing everything he has here tonight.
Shannan Lerch: I am impressed. He is hanging with Sarah Twilight in this, his third match since signing with the company.
Zach Davis: Perhaps history repeating itself...in a way. It was Sarah Twilight who had last year faced Jonny Fly for the coveted World Championship in her third match in the company. She took Fly to the limit but came up short. Will the same happen to Morientes?
Shannan Lerch: Well you have to consider Twilight the favorite in this match up. She hasn't been pinned by anyone since returning. I don't believe she is looking to change that. But that's not to say anything can't happen. It would be quite a feat if Morientes were to manage to knock her off here tonight.
Morientes slowly back to his feet now as he looks to continue the offense against the Television Champion. As she makes it back to her feet, Morientes hauls her up with a double underhook backbreaker. The Mistress of Mischief is down on the canvas and The Bull looks to take to the skies once again, climbing the turnbuckle.
Zach Davis: Another high risk maneuver!
Shannan Lerch: Twilight is in trouble!
Morientes dives off the turnbuckle for a diving leg drop. But Sarah rolls out of the way. The Spaniard land HARD on his tail bone. He remains in a seated position on the mat as he howls out in pain. Sarah capitalizes on the situation as he grabs hold of his arms from behind, wrapping her legs around them in a triangle format, pressing her calves against the back of his neck and grabbing hold of his wrists. Morientes is captured in an inverted, modified figure four arm triangle.
Zach Davis: SPELLBOUND! He has nowhere to go!
Shannan Lerch: This is it! This is it!
Morientes scream out in agony as Sarah wrenches the hold, applying pressure against his neck and pushing upwards on his writs, causing the tension to target his shoulders. She apples more and more pressure. Westbrook is there to check for the submission. Morientes screams out in pain but he won't give in.
Zach Davis: How much longer can he endure this? His shoulder has got to be damn near broken by now!
Shannan Lerch: It's only a matter of time. He should just give up and save himself long term injury.
Sarah continues to wrench her signature submission hold and Morientes is struggling. But he uses his feet to try and walk himself toward the ropes. Inch by inch he uses his feet to drag himself closer.
Zach Davis: I don't believe this. There's no way he can reach the ropes. This is insane!
Shannan Lerch: The man is crazy!
Sarah is not giving him any reprieve as she keeps the hold locked in tightly. Morientes continues to inch his way forward and he somehow manages to get his foot under the bottom rope! The crowd is riled up for both stars as the match continues on. Westbrook begins her count for Sarah to release the hold.
Sarah releases the hold. The damage having been done.
Zach Davis: I am in awe right now. Morientes somehow managing to make his way to the ropes. Battling the pain searing in his arms. This is amazing!
Shannan Lerch: But he is hurting badly. Sarah is going to continue to pick him apart.
Sarah grabs hold of Morientes' arms and drags him back to the center of the ring. And AGAIN she applies Spellbound!
Zach Davis: Oh this is it. He can't possibly endure another round of torture to his arms.
Shannan Lerch: Wait look!
However, Sarah never gets the hold fully applied the second time around as Morientes powers his way free of the hold. He makes his way to his feet, as does Sarah and he strikes again!
Zach Davis: Español Bomb!!!!
Shannan Lerch: Oh my God! He might have it!
Sarah is PLANTED into the canvas and Morientes immediately hooks the leg. Exhausted and tired, he nods his head in tune to Westbrook's count.
Zach Davis: She kicked out!
Shannan Lerch: And Morientes can't believe it!
Morientes sits up and stares at Westbrook with a look of disbelief. She confirms that the count was only two and three quarters. Morientes wipes his hands over his face as he slowly makes his way to his feet. Thinking of what he must do to win. He hauls Sarah to her feet again. And again Español Bomb! She is PLANTED into the canvas once more.
Zach Davis: ANOTHER ONE! It has to be over!
Shannan Lerch: This is CRAZY! That is now TWO Español Bombs.
Morientes shakes his head, not satisfied with just using one Español Bomb this time. He hauls Sarah up again and lifts her for ANOTHER one...however she shoves off, spinning the newcomer around. As he spins, she sends a well planted kick to his gut and hauls him up...
Shannan Lerch: TWILIGHT ZONE!
Zach Davis: And she nailed ALL OF IT!
Sarah falls onto Morientes for the cover, still quite out of it herself. Westbrook in position.
Morientes kicks his shoulder off of the mat, but just a millisecond too late.
Kyle Steel: Here is your winner...and STILL WCF Television Champion..."The Mistress of Mischief" SARAH TWILIGHT!
Zach Davis: There is nothing you can say about Morientes except that he has the heart and the drive to make it here. Tonight may not have been his night, but he took Sarah Twilight to the limit. I see a bright future ahead for this young man. Wow, what a contest!
Shannan Lerch: Oh absolutely. Morientes has aboslutely nothing to be ashamed of. This was a superb showing. I think he has proven to a lot of people in the back that he is the real deal. Despite coming up short, he has definitely earned some respect.
Zach Davis: Absolutely, and look at this!
Back in the ring, Sarah Twilight helps the Spaniard back to his feet and offers up a handshake. She gives him a nod of respect for his efforts this evening. Morientes looks a little disappointed, but he nods and shakes her hand. Sarah takes to the turnbuckle with the Television Championship and celebrates a HARD fought victory.
Shannan Lerch: A showing of respect by The Mistress of Mischief. That is not something that happens often.
Zach Davis: But it was well deserved by Morientes here tonight.
The camera opens as we come back from commercial. Sarah Twilight has already made her way to the locker room, and Morientes is sitting squarely in the middle of the ring, his head in his hands. The crowd starts clapping as they acknowledge the fierce battle the two competitors have shown in the match. Morientes uses the ropes to get to his feet, clearly worn out by the earlier match, before gesturing to Kyle Steel to pass him a microphone. The applause continues to rain throughout the arena, as the WCF crowd showers their appreciation to the young wrestler from Madrid.
Morientes: Ladies and gentlemen... tonight, you have witnessed a wrestling classic! From start to end, there is no respite. Dropkicks, suplexes, submission holds, except for weapons, I dare say this is one of the best matches I've ever been in.
The crowd cheers, clearly happy with how Morientes shows respect to his fellow wrestler, despite a physically gruelling match.
Morientes: I've been here for a very short time, and all of you have made me feel at home. Señoras y señores, every single one of you, have welcomed me with open arms, and I am proud to call myself... a WCF wrestler!
The cheers from the crowd grow even louder, as Morientes's heartfelt words clearly touches them.
Shannan Lerch: Emotional words from the young man. The crowd seems to be loving him more and more every week. Wonder if he's open to a date...
Zach Davis: Let the man last at least a month before trying to hit on him already Shannan. Anyways, I don't think he's done yet. Let's hear what else he has to say.
Taking a deep breath as he continues to recover from the match, Morientes resumes his talk.
Morientes: From day one in this company, I've given it my all. From winning the Battle Royal to tonight's match against Sarah Twilight. Everything that I have done, is a performance for you, and--
However, before the Spaniard could continue speaking, "Things That You Oughta Know" by Chronic Future blasts over the P.A. system, cutting him off in mid-sentence.
The crowd boos thunderously, as they recognize the music of John Gable, who had been in a match earlier that night, and has not exactly endeared himself to the fans in recent times.
Zach Davis: What the! Oh no... what is this guy trying to do now? Interrupting Morientes like that sure isn't going to buy him any favors from the WCF universe!
John Gable steps out onto the ramp in a gray pinstripe suit with a wooden bat in his hand. He is followed by Humphrey Craig who's wearing his dark blue pinstripe suit and fedora with a lit cigar in his mouth. John Gable made notice of the similar outfits as to bring attention to it for the fans. For tonight is a performance. John Gable lights a cigarette as they make their way down to the ring.
Zach Davis: Is he smoking? Humphrey realizes there's a statewide smoking ban, right? Maybe Florida will lock him up for us.
John Gable: Okay okay, Morientes. Scram, appreciate you keeping the ring warm for me.
John Gable spoke with a sort of cheesy 1930's mobster attitude. He lingers in step, focusing more on the fans booing and yelling obscenities. Morientes stays in the ring, not quite sure what to make of this mess.
John Gable: Now, if everybody has been paying attention this week, which I doubt. I declared war; see...I declared a war on a few things actually. I declared war on the masses, I declared war on standards and I declared war on the foundation of entertainment, see! I'm not playing by no one's rules no more. I feel it's time for a new age of enlightenment. Now, I ain't no fool, see.
John reaches the ring. He continues to walk slowly around the ring, only addressing the fans while actively ignoring Morientes.
John Gable: People use the phrase 'age of enlightenment' so dramatically. They picture becoming one with the universe. But there ain't no universal oneness, there ain't no greater purpose, ain't no meaning to life neither...except the purpose to fulfill what you want. Enlightenment is realization and acknowledgment. See my point? You all gave up on your lives when you couldn't make it. Not good ole' John Gable. I am gonna line the wings of this company with dynamite and send this place up in smoke like a burnt ham...I mean figuratively, of course. I am gonna get this dump front page news. I am going to be remembered in the history books as one of the most important figures in WCF history when I put this place back into the game.
John rolls into the ring, only to be met with the displeased face of Morientes. John Gable taps the bat against the Spaniard's chest.
John Gable: Hey there sonny boy, I thought I told you to beat it. Make like Apollonia Vitelli-Corleone and hit the road, bub. You had your little speech, but I have more important things here.
Lifting his microphone to his mouth, Morientes stared daggers into the actor-turned-wrestler for a couple of tense seconds, before finally speaking.
Morientes: John Gable, why the hell is a perdedore like you doing out here now. Haven't you already gotten a beating from Doc Henry earlier? And now you try to snatch some airtime for your already inflated ego?
Glancing at Humphrey Craig, Morientes laughed as he eyed his mafia-inspired outfit.
Morientes: Nice cigar you've gotten for your lackey by the way señor. I didn't know failed actors could afford to buy such luxuries here in the States. But guessing since you stole his entire outfit from the returns section at The GAP, it shouldn't cost more than what, half your monthly salary?
The crowd cheers loudly, clearly sick of Gable's condescending attitude and remarks. John points the bat to Humphrey Craig.
John Gable: You see that man? He is to be respected! He is a professional and a saint. You are lucky to even be in the same building as him!
John points the bat back at Morientes as he faces the crowd.
John Gable: This is what I have been talking about...A mind-numbing, brainwashing, demographic stunt in hero's clothing. Someone simple, so you can latch onto him like parasites. He is what in the industry we call... accessible. You choose him over me, someone who wants to culture you.
John turns back to Morientes.
John Gable: People like you come and go, but people like me are timeless. You might get the extra ratings pop that this program needs, but it will only be temporary. I will re-construct what this show delivers as entertainment and households all over the country will tune in to see it. If you're smart, you would try to ride my coattails, but I am guessing that is not the case. So get out of my ring like a good extra before I show you who is the star on this set. I don't even need this bat to kick your ass.
John Gable tosses the bat aside. Clearly affronted, Morientes closes the distance between Gable and himself.
Morientes: I don't appreciate your words Mr. Gable, and you'll do well to show me the appropriate respect that I deserve.
Morientes pushes him away, causing him to fall back into the mat. Snarling, Gable jumps right back up, and goes into the Spaniard's face, clearly ready to start a confrontation with the Madrid-born wrestler.
Shannan Lerch: Uh-oh. Looks like we are this close to having a fight on our hands. This doesn't look good.
The camera fades as security guards rush into the ring, trying their best to separate the two men.
Kyle Steel: This match is a tag team match, and it is scheduled for one fall.
Suddenly, “This Fire Burns” begins to blare over the P.A., and Chris Kane comes running out onto the stage. The crowd cheers loudly, as he throws his hands up. HE slaps hands with a few fans, as he walks down the ramp.
Kyle Steel: Now coming to the ring, standing five feet, eleven inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred, and seventy five pounds. He is the Youngest Hero, CHRIS KANE!!!
Zach Davis: Chris was the one who was originally attacked by these men in white, and we still have no idea why. All we know is that Scott Savage and Kaylyn James Evans came down to save the young man, and then a week later both Scott and Chris were attacked in a brutal mugging.
The crowd showers him with applauds as he slides under the bottom rope. On his face is a determined, angry glare, as he steps onto the second rope, and throws his hands up again, eliciting a louder cheer from the crowd. He backflips off the second rope, and lands on his feet as his music dies. It is quickly replaced by the slow, quiet opening of “Night on Bald Mountain”. Scott struts out onto the ramp, and poses, as a chorus of boos envelope him. He smiles, as he slowly removes his crimson suit jacket, and hangs it over his arm.
Kyle Steel: And his partner, standing six feet, ten inches tall, weighing in at three hundred and twenty five pounds, He is the CEO of Savage Enterprises, SCOTT SAVAGE!!!
Zach Davis: Now, this is a man who, quite frankly, I can't figure out. One week he is the Kane family's worst enemy, and the next he's best friends with Chris, even saving him from the men in white, and asking for this match to help get revenge.
Shannan Lerch: I heard a rumor that would explain Scott's mood toward the Kane family in the early weeks of the friendship between Kay and Chris.
Zach Davis: And what would this rumor be?
Shannan Lerch: My sources say it was due to opium withdrawal.
Zach Davis: So he kicked the withdrawals all of a sudden?
Shannan Lerch: My sources say he just got more opium.
Zach Davis: Well that makes more sense.
Scott makes his way around the ring, and lays his jacket across the announcer's desk.
Scott Savage: Don't go through the pockets, there's no money in there.
Zach Davis: I'd be too worried about catching on fire.
That line draws a chuckles form Scott, as he removes his watch, and tie, setting them on top of his jacket. He then rolls under the bottom rope, and has a short discussion with Chris as his music dies.
Suddenly, the lights go out, and the big screen shows an image of a man in a faceless white mask. Silence remains for a few moments, before his obviously augmented voice is heard.
Masked Man: Scott Savage. We came here for Chris Kane, but you had to interfere. Now, you will suffer and perish together. You have made your choice.
The image disappears, and the lights come back on, as “The Key to Gramercy Park” begins to play. Two men dressed in all white with the same sort of masks run out from behind the curtain, and sprint down the ramp. They slide under the bottom rope, and immediately go after their opponents. The four men trade punches, and eventually Scott and Chris get the upper hand. They back the masked men against the ropes, and then bounce off the opposite ropes in unison, using dual clotheslines to take their opponents over the top, and onto the floor. The crowd cheers loudly, as the ref pushes Scott and Chris back to their corner. Scott steps out, signaling that Chris will be starting. The ref waits for one of the men in white to slide into the ring, before ringing the bell.
Zach Davis: And the match is underway!
Chris and the first man in white circle each other for a moment, before locking up. Kane quickly finds himself shoved into the corner violently. The ref steps in and tells them to separate, and the masked man pretends he is going to back up, before lunging forward, and hitting Chris with several forearm shots to the head, knocking him into a sitting position. The man then backs up, and sprints toward chris, raising up his knee. The young wrestler rolls out of the way at the last minute, causing his opponent to ram himself into the turnbuckle. As he stumbles backward, Chris pops up and delivers a few solid kicks to the man's chest, causing him to fall to his back. He then rolls to his corner, and tags in his partner. The second man in white climbs in, as Chris moves to the middle of the ring, and makes a “come and get it” hand motion.
Zach Davis: Chris Kane is ready to go here tonight. It looks like these men have got him angry.
Shannan Lerch: And that is not a good idea. Chris is a passionate young man, and if you piss him off, he is liable to destroy you.
The masked man approaches chris, and gets a few quick kicks to the hamstring for his troubles, Chris then this him with a stiff enziguri, and poses for the crowd, as he is showered with cheers. The masked man slowly stands, but Chris whips him into the corner, and tags in his partner. Scott steps over the top rope, and grabs the masked man, tossing him halfway across the ring.
Zach Davis: What a beal by Scott Savage!
Shannan Lerch: He hasn't wrestled in almost four years, but it doesn't look like he's lost a step.
Scott steps quickly toward the fallen man, and lifts him to his feet. Savage this him with a few punches, before tossing him into the ropes. On the rebound, he lifts his leg, hitting the masked man with a brutal boot to the face. As he approaches the man again, and bends down, he is met with a discreet thumb to the eye. Scott stumbles backward, and opens himself up for a lariat from the masked man. Once Scott is on the ground, his opponent jumps on him, hitting him with hard rights tot he head, until the ref demands he get off of the man. He obeys, and walks over, tagging in his partner. The other masked man runs in , and dives on Scott, before he can tag Chris. He stomps on Savage several times, before dragging the large man to his feet.
Zach Davis: It looks like Scott's luck has turned, due to a dastardly thumb to the eye.
The asked man punches Scott a few times, backing him into the corner. He spins him around, grabbing Scott in a DDT position, and climbs to the second rope. The masked man goes for a tornado DDT, but Scott shoves him off at the last minute, sending his opponent crashing, face first, to the canvas. The other masked man runs in, trying to interfere, but Scott grabs him, and tosses him over the top rope. He crashes to the cement floor, and looks to be out completely.
Shannan Lerch: My god! Scott Savage showing a vicious mean streak here.
Zach Davis: I didn't expect any less from the man.
Scott grabs the masked man that is still in the ring, and drags him to his feet. He then flips him up into a powerbomb position, and tags in Chris. Kane climbs to the top rope, and this the masked man with a flying leg lariat, at the same time as Scott throws him down with the powerbomb. Scott then immediately walks over to the ropes, where Chris is climbing again. The bigger man helps his partner up onto his shoulders, and climbs to the second rope.
Zach Davis: What on earth are they doing?
Shannan Lerch: It looks as if he is going to jump off of Scott's shoulders, but that is an incredible height! What could Chris even be thinking about?
Zach Davis: Possibly doing his signature double rotation moonsault?
They don't have to wait long for the answer. Chris balances himself on Scott;s shoulders, facing the crowd, and leaps off. He flips not twice, but three times, before landing on the man in white.
Zach Davis: Jesus Christ! The height was just enough for Chris Kane to turn it into a triple rotation moonsault! I've never seen anything like it. This one is over.
Kyle Steel: Your winners, the team of Chris Kane, and Scott Savage!
The men in white lay, unconscious, as Scott grabs Chris' hand, and raises it into the air. Chris looks at him like he expects an attack at any time, but none comes. Instead, Chris' music plays, and he walks to the back with Scott, both men celebrating.
Zach Davis: Scott and Chris making quick work of the Men in White, and in spectacular fashion!
“With our hands held high we're screaming..."
The crowd scream 'whoa-oh whoa-oh oh' and in doing so introduce Skyler Striker. Striker makes his way to the ring in his usual fashion, focused and determined. Once inside, he stands in the center of the ring and bows his head, his arms outstretched and fists clenched. He then opens his palms to the audience, causing white pyro to explode from the ring posts. Striker throws his effects out of the ring and prepares for the match.
Shannan Lerch: And Striker makes his way to the ring. He has been used as sort of a hitman for Jonny Fly.
Zach Davis: He has. Jonny Fly knows how to use talent, unlike Setch Cretary. Shannon you should change your last name too.
Shannan Lerch: Shannan Cretary, doesn’t have a ring to it.
Zach Davis: No, Shannan Isleepwitheveryone.
Shannan Lerch: Hardy har.
“Follow Me, Boys!” plays as Stu marches out from the back, silently mouthing the lyrics to his theme as he heads down the ramp. He does a circuit around the outside of the ring before climbing the steps and entering. After some last minute old timey calisthenics (Indian twists, deep knee bends, etc) The Scoutmaster goes his corner. He hands his hat and sash off to a WCF stagehand and assumes a fighting position.
Zach Davis: Slane has been on a roll, and in that roll he won the United States Title from Steve Orbit.
Shannan Lerch: A task that not too many could have accomplished. I don’t think he will be losing it anytime soon.
Both men square of in the middle of the ring as the bell is sounded, and Scoutmaster challenges Striker to a bout of strength. Striker walks toward him in the middle of the ring, and then jumped in the air and hit Scoutmaster with a big standing dropkick. Striker was smarter then go forth with a test of strength against someone as big as Slane. Slane, however, as big as he is, doesn’t fall down, he falls up against the ropes, and shoots back at Striker, hitting him with a huge clothesline. Down went Striker, Slane saluted him. He stomped at Striker a bit on the ground, turning to pander to the booing audience. Picking Striker up, he hits him with a giant spike DDT, and making a pin.
Shannan Lerch: Skylar kicks out. That was almost the fastest match Slane ever won.
Zach Davis: And Striker ever lost.
Slane picks Skylar up again and whips him, strongly, into the corner. Charging at him he goes to spear him into the corner, but Stiker jumps over him, and Slane goes shoulder first into the corner turnbuckle. He turns Scoutmaster around, but Scoutmaster was down and out, he kicks Striker in the mid section, using his strength to slam Skylar into the turnbuckle again, and gave him a few harsh knees to the midsection. Setting him up, Slane lifted Striker over his head and threw him over the ropes, onto the mat down below. Skylar hit with a thud as Slane climbed out of the ring, and the ref starts the count. Mean while, Slane has Skylar on the barricade, slamming his face into it, saluting the fans afterward. He picks up Striker, aiming for the stairs, and whips him….but Striker holds on, putting all his strength behind it, and slams Slane into the steps instead. He tries getting up and in the ring before Scoutmaster, but to no avail. They both roll in at the same time. Striker however, is on his feet first, and Slane, when he gets to his feet, runs toward Striker, who counters with a big Super Kick. Slane goes down.
Zach Davis: That nearly took Slane’s head off.
Shannan Lerch: Did you hear that smack? It sounded painful.
Striker knows that speed is his biggest ally here, so he uses it, and hits the ropes, executing a beautiful springboard moonsault. And one more for good measure. He pins…
Slane throws Striker off of him. Striker hits his feet fast though, not wanting to give Slane any chance to recover. He tries to hit the springboard again, but Slanes knees come up, and Striker rolls over, clutching his mid section. Slane decides to target that with a few good punches right to his midsection. Picking him up, he puts him in position, and drops Striker on the ropes, ribs first. He hung there for a moment, dropping down on the mat. Slane stomped his mid section a few times before leaning on a turnbuckle, waiting for Striker to get up. The moment he did, Slane shot forward, ready to spear Striker to the ground. But Striker is a vet of the ring, and he uses Slane’s momentum against him, jumping up and taking Slane down with a huge DDT!
Shannan Lerch: Wow! Skylar doing all he can to stay in this.
Zach Davis: Smart move.
Striker waits till Slane gets to his feet, moves toward him, and grabs his legs, pulling them out from under him, locking in the Lockdown. Slane seems to be in pain, as he tries to claw toward the ropes. Striker, however, is aware of this, and makes sure to keep Slane in the very middle, wrenching the hold. Scoutmaster realizes he can’t get to the ropes, Striker won’t let him. So instead he uses his strength, turning over and launches Striker off of him with pure brute strength. Striker however decides he won’t give up. He picks Slane up, setting him up for a suplex, but Slane counters with some shots to the mid section. Finally free of the suplex, Slane sets Striker up…
Shannan Lerch: SCOUTMASTER SLAM!!!
Zach Davis: ITS OVER, HE MAKES THE PIN….
The bell rings as Scoutmaster rolls off a Stiker…his music hits as the Ref tries to raise his hand in the air in Victory.
Kyle Steel: The following contest is set for one fall, and it is for the WCF Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, the challengers. . .
The opening plucking of "Toast to the Fam" begins, and the crowd cheers loudly, signalling the arrival of the Homegrown Players. Waylon Cash, and Steve Orbit come dancing out onto the stage.
Kyle Steel: Now coming to the ring, accompanied by their manager, Roxxanne Savage, with a combined weight of four-hundred and seventy pounds. Representing Genesis, "The Hellbilly" Waylon Cash, and "The Mack" Steve Orbit... The Homegrown Players!
Steve and Waylon stand at opposite sides of the ramp, encouraging the crowd to make noise as multicolored fountains of sparks spring up all around them, and Roxxanne stands in the center of the stage, grinning. The two men come together, and bump fists, before all three of them step down the ramp. The fans scream their love, as the two men slide under the bottom rope, and jump to the second rope, in opposite corners of the ring. Their music slowly quiets, as both men climb down, and meet in the center of the ring. They have a quick game of rock, paper, scissors to determine who starts the match, before heading to their corner.
Kyle Steel: And their opponents, your Tag Team Champions. . .
“Capricco” by Krzysztof Penderecki hits the sound system with a loud hit of drums followed by a sharp harmony of horns and strings. Benjamin Atreyu and Odin Balfore step out onto the ramp, the tag team titles strung over their shoulders. They scan the crowd, when suddenly, all music ceases.
IT IS FUTILE TO RESIST
Pyros fire off behind both men, and they make their way down the ramp. Benjamin pulls himself up using the ropes while Odin uses the steps to climb up. They both step into the ring and hold up their belt to the crowd, mixed reactions reigning down on them.
Zack Davis: We’re about to have a rematch from the tag team title encounter from One. The Home Grown players are looking to prove themselves tonight, while Atreyu and Balfore are hoping to retain successfully.
Shannan Lerch: It looks like Balfore and Cash are starting the match.
Balfore and the referee exchange a few words while Cash speaks with Roxanne on the apron. She gives Waylon a good luck kiss before dropping to the floor, cheering on her partner and his friend Orbit. Both of the competitors step into the center of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
DING DING DING
Odin swipes up immediately, trying to catch Cash across the jaw with an open palm. Cash ducks the strike, and runs for the ropes. On the rebound, he leaves his feet with a flying shoulder block, attempting to topple the giant. For the most part, Cash bounces off Balfore, but Odin wobbles a little. Cash, the adrenaline pumping is on his feet and hitting the ropes again, a second shoulder block in mind. Again, he hits Odin head on, but the man doesn’t fall, instead catching himself by holding the top rope. Thinking the third time was the charm, Cash hit the ropes one more time. But before he can connect with the shoulder block, Balfore is on his feet, catching Cash under the jaw with a big boot.
Zach Davis: Balfore redefines kissing someone’s boots.
Cash doesn’t stay vulnerable on the mat, quickly trying to stand again. But before he does, Balfore kicks Cash on the side of his head, sending him flailing onto his back. The big man shoots the rope himself, and rebounds with a powerful leg drop that shakes the ring. A pin attempt follows.
Balfore stands to his feet, pulling Cash to his feet and dragging him over to his team’s corner. Planting Cash in the corner, he tags Atreyu in, and the two men wail on Cash for a few moments until the referee chases Balfore out of the ring. With his back turned, the referee misses the eye rake Atreyu applies on Cash, but Orbit saw it clearly. He starts yelling, trying to climb into the ring, and in the usual fashion, the referee prevents him, allowing Atreyu to further cheat by choking Cash with his large foot.
Shannan Lerch: The champs are doing anything necessary to retain tonight.
Before the referee can turn and catch Atreyu choking, Benji releases Cash, allowing him to fall to the mat, gasping for breath. Atreyu catches Cash in the ribs with a sharp kick, before dropping an elbow on the back of Waylon’s neck. Orbit it yelling for Cash to tag in, but Benji just taunts him. He pulls Cash to his feet, only to take him up and over with a perfect snap suplex. Instead of going for the pin, Atreyu locks in a sleeper in the center of the ring, trying to choke Cash out.
Zach Davis: Both men are in the center in the ring. Atreyu wants to end this with a submission.
At first, Cash struggles, trying to break free of the hold. But once Atreyu locks in the scissors around his waist, his struggling ceases. The referee grabs his wrist, and drops it. Nothing. He picks it up the second time, and drops it limply to the mat. Once more, for all the marbles. And before Waylon’s hand hits the mat, he catches it, shaking it to prove he’s still in the match. Orbit starts clapping on the apron, and the fans pick up Waylon chants. And slowly but surely, Waylon begins to wiggle out of the sleeper, clocking Atreyu with elbows from behind, until the hold is loose enough to climb to his feet. Before Atreyu stands, Cash shoots the ropes, and comes back with a stiff dropkick that catches Atreyu straight in the face. Cash grabs Atreyu by his head and pulls him so he’s on his knees, before spiking him with a DDT. And the fans are loving it.
Zach Davis: Quickly, the tide has turned.
Shannan Lerch: But here comes Odin, trying to return to momentum in his favor.
Cash turns in time to see Balfore barreling towards him, a running boot on his mind. Waylon ducks the strike this time, and Odin’s leg goes over the top rope. Orbit is begging for the tag, and Cash obliges. Stepping into the ring quickly, Steve rushes forward, chop blocking Odin in the leg he was balancing on, sending him collapsing to the mat. Orbit lays his boots onto Odin’s upper torso, the fans cheering him on the entire way. Orbit steps back, gesturing to his waist as if putting on a title belt.
Zach Davis: No love lost between these enemies.
Orbit grabs Odin by the hair, bringing him to his feet. But he doesn’t let him stay up too long, as he tucks Odin’s head between his legs, moments before he piledrives Odin to the mat. A pin attempt follows.
Atreyu is quick to make the pin break, leaping into the ring with a double axe handle. Cash storms the ring, bull rushing Atreyu. Benji is ready for him, though, and back body drops him over the top rope to the concrete below. Cash lands roughly, and moments later he is flattened as Atreyu leaps up and over with a springboard splash to the outside. Orbit is watching, considering whether or not to help Cash out, when Odin catches him from behind with a backslide pin.
Shannan Lerch: Odin nearly stole the victory from beneath Orbit, literally!
Zach Davis: Both men are to their feet now. They’re about to make this a fight.
Both men get face to face, both mouths running. And then Odin cold cocks Orbit across the jaw. Steve responds with an uppercut. And then both men let it loose, both trying to get the upper hand. With each strike from Orbit that lands, the fans pop. When Odin strikes back, they boo. Suddenly, Orbit nails Odin with the Pimp Slap out of nowhere. Odin stumbles back, and suddenly Orbit steps behind him, locking in the half-nelson, followed by the suplex. A pin attempt follows.
Zach Davis: Honey Dip!
Zach Davis: Odin isn’t giving in tonight.
Shannan Lerch: No he isn’t—hey, who just jumped the barricade?!
Video feed cuts from the ring to Roxanne and the mysterious man behind her. Mysterious, until the man sticks a single, red finger to his lips to shush the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: Nathan von Liebert is behind Roxanne! Someone warn her.
The fans nearest here are trying to tell her, but instead of running she turns to see what is behind her. When she is facing Nathan, he strikes, catching her under the jaw with a superkick. The falls to the concrete, stunned, allowing Nathan to scoop her up, and begin his escape up the ramp.
Zach Davis: He is kidnapping Roxanne! Waylon won’t be happy when he finds out.
Waylon, who up to this point, had been slugging it out with Atreyu outside the ring, finally realizes Nathan is escaping with his woman. He tries to pursue him, but Atreyu grabs him. Waylon, his rage building, quickly turns, kicking Benji upside the head with an enzuiguri. Atreyu hits the concrete, and Waylon is on his feet, running full speed up the ramp after Nathan.
Zach Davis: Waylon is leaving his partner all alone out there.
Steve Orbit yells after Waylon to no avail, before turning back to Odin. The champ is on his feet, though, and he catches Orbit by the throat.
Zach Davis: Ragnarok?!
Before Odin can connect with the chokeslam, Orbit slips behind him, and hits a Half Nelson Suplex!
Shannan Lerch: HONEY DIP!
Orbit pins him!
Zach Davis: STEVE ORBIT DOES IT!
Shannan Lerch: THE HOMEGROWN PLAYERS PICK UP THE TAG TEAM TITLES!
Orbit stands up as the ref hands him the Tag Team Titles, both of them. Orbit cringes in a bit of pain as he raises one belt high in the air, victorious.
Zach Davis: That must've been a stressful period in Orbit's life, not having gold around his waist for like a month. Poor guy.
Kyle Steel: The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WCF Hardcore Championship.
The camera pans to the titantron, where an oak door comes into view. A thump is heard, and the door shakes on its hinges. Several more thumps occur, until the blade of an ax busts through the door. Smoke begins to form on the stage, as a dark figure steps out. Suddenly a woman voice yells out from the speaker.
"No, go away!
Leave me alone!"
Smoke billows down the aisle as the man walks down it to the ring, his identity shrouded in the smog. Meanwhile, on the titantron, the ax makes a large hole in the wood, and a hand reaches in for the door knob, the fingernails painted black. Again the frightened voice rings out as the mystery man slides into the ring.
"Don't you come in here!
I don't want you here.!"
The mystery man watches the titantron now, as the door opens, and the same man standing in the ring, steps into the house. A lightning bolt cracks behind him, equal in volume to the string of fireworks that fire up on the ramp. The man on the titantron rubs his thumb on the door, leaving a bloody smear on the polished oak. He lifts the ax with both hands, as the voice pleads.
"No, No, No, NO!!
The scream is cut off as the man swings the ax. Blood appears to splatter across the tron, and then the name "Nathan von Liebert" is written with a finger painted black. Nathan, who is in the ring, falls on his knees, never taking his eyes off the 'tron until it goes black. He then scans the members of the crowd that he could without contorting his torso, as Kyle Steel announces him.
Kyle Steel: Introducing first, the challenger. From the Nightmare Realm, weighing in at two hundred and twenty nine pounds, he is The Devil's Right Hand...Nathan von Lieeeeeeeeeeeebert.
The crowd boos as von Liebert remains unfazed.
Kyle Steel: And his opponent...
The lights go out in the arena. After several seconds, words written in a bright white begin flashing on the otherwise blackened out Jumbotron. With each fading word, a new word pops up on the screen.
As the last word fades, all five words reappear on the jumbotron at once.
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!?!
The lights slowly come back on as 'Hear Me Now' by Hollywood Undead begins to play through the speakers as Roy Speede steps out on stage. He crosses his arms in an X across his chest, with his right arm underneath his left, and his hands in his fists. He bows his head for several seconds, and his chin rests in the gap between his fists.
Kyle Steel: “From Richmond, Virginia, Wrestling Championship Federation's own Silver Lining, he is the WCF Hardcore Champion...ROY SPEEEEDE!!”
Roy drops his right arm, and raises his left arm in the air, with his pointer, middle, and pinky fingers extended, and his ring finger and thumb tucked into his palm. His palm is facing the crowd. He drops his arm, and begins jogging to ringside, high-fiving fans as he goes, before climbing onto the apron, and then climbing the outside of the turnbuckle. He raises his left arm, with the same fingers extended as when he was on stage. He leaps from the turnbuckle into the ring.
Zach Davis: Roy Speede...Nathan von Liebert...battling it out for the Hardcore Title. This is going to be epic.
Senior Referee Stanley Moser holds the Hardcore Title up in the air as von Liebert and Speede both come out of their corners for a stare down. Moser then walks over to the ropes and hands off the Hardcore Title before signaling for the bell.
[DING! DING! DING!]
Both men stand there ground, the stare down continuing as the crowd buzzes with anticipation. Smack talk ensues as both men begin hurling out insults at the other. Speede apparently says the right words to get a reaction out of von Liebert as he rushes right at Speede looking to tackle him to the ground. Speede's having none of that as he spins and connects with a kick to the midsection of von Liebert. von Liebert stays on his feet but Speede is instantly all over him with lefts and rights. Speede backs von Liebert up into the ropes and then goes back to the midsection with kicks. Speede switching back to punches as von Liebert staggers into the corner. With von Liebert dazed Speede connects from out of nowhere with an enzuigiri.
Zach Davis: What a kick!
von Liebert is still on his feet but he looks like he just got off a very fast roller coaster. Speede moves back in and grabs the head of von Liebert before pulling him out of the corner and pushing him up against the ropes. Speede tries to clothesline him over the top rope but von Liebert doesn't go over. Speede now backing up and he tries to rush von Liebert, but von Liebert comes off the ropes and hits a big clothesline of his own. Speede hits the mat and then gets right back up as von Liebert moves in. Speede now getting pushed into the corner as von Liebert unloads with a series of punches to the body and head. von Liebert now backing up and he looks to hit a boot to the face. Speede ducks it and von Liebert gets caught up on the top rope. Speede now grabbing von Liebert by the head and whipping him backward onto the mat.
Shannan Lerch: Eesh, that's one way to get a concussion.
Speede now pulling von Liebert back up to his feet before pushing him into the corner again. Speede with a knee to the gut that leaves von Liebert slouched in the corner. Speede now backing up and he runs at von Liebert but von Liebert counters with a drop toe hold and Speede's face bounces off of the bottom turnbuckle. Speede clutches at his face as he rolls out of the ring and onto the ground. von Liebert rolls out of the ring as well and drops a forearm across the back of Speede. von Liebert back up to his feet and he drops another forearm across Speede's back. von Liebert now leaving Speede alone as he walks over to the ring apron and lifts it up. von Liebert finds himself a steel chair and he pulls it out from under the ring. Speede is making his way to his feet as von Liebert readies the chair. Speede turns around and von Liebert slams the chair into his stomach. Speede is doubled over and von Liebert cracks him over the back with the chair.
Zach Davis: Did you hear that chair shot?
Shannan Lerch: I'm pretty sure people in China heard it Zach.
von Liebert readies the chair again and when Roy starts to push himself up, Nathan cracks him across the back a second time. Speede drops to the ground and begins to crawl toward the ring steps. von Liebert watches as Roy pulls himself up to his feet and then he swings. Speede ducks it at the last second and the chair connects with the ring post. von Liebert drops the chair and Speede uses the ring steps to connect with a step-up enzuigiri. von Liebert tries to shake it off but Speede grabs him around the waist, lifts him up and then drops him face first onto the ring steps with a flapjack.
Zach Davis: Mother of god! Someone call a plastic surgeon.
von Liebert rolls down the ring steps and onto the floor holding onto his nose and mouth. Speede's got a hand on his back as he lifts up the ring apron and pulls out a table. Speede gets to setting up the table as von Liebert begins to make his way to his feet. Speede turns his attention back to von Liebert in time to catch a right hand to the jaw. von Liebert now grabbing Speede and pushing him up against the barricade. von Liebert with a chop to the chest and then follows it up with a headbutt. Speede holds his nose as von Liebert grabs a soda from some fan's hand and smashes it into the face of Speede, sending soda spraying everywhere.
Zach Davis: Well now that wasn't very nice.
Shannan Lerch: What are you talking about Zach? This is a hardcore match.
Zach Davis: I wasn't talking about Speede, Shannan. I was talking about that poor fan that just got screwed out of a twelve dollar soda.
Shannan Lerch: Oh. Well if you want to get technical, he was screwed from the beginning of the night when he paid twenty bucks to park his car.
Zach Davis: Maybe we should stop complaining about the prices of things before we get fired.
Shannan Lerch: Agreed.
Speede is desperately trying to get the sticky soda out of his eyes when von Liebert decides to give him a hand, or rather a pair of thumbs, by digging into his eyes. Speede screams out in pain and begins clawing at the arms of von Liebert to make him stop. von Liebert finally does stop, long enough to drop Speede with a headbutt. With Speede down, von Liebert goes to the ring apron in search of another weapon. He finds himself a kendo stick and seems rather pleased with it. Speede is on the ground crawling and von Liebert grabs his ankle. von Liebert goes to turn him over when Speede grabs the nearby chair off of the ground and nails von Liebert in the leg. von Liebert grabs at his leg as Speede sits up and delivers a chair shot to the top of von Liebert's head.
Shannan Lerch: Oh my god!
von Liebert is miraculously still standing after that chair shot but he's wobbling. Speede back up to his feet and he slams the chair into von Liebert's midsection. von Liebert drops down to one knee as Speede tosses the chair into the ring. Speede now pulling von Liebert up to his feet and he whips him toward the ring steps. von Liebert hits them and ends up sprawled on them. Speede looking at von Liebert and then at the barricade. He's looking back and forth like he's got something planned.
Zach Davis: What could Speede be thinking here?
Speede walks over to the barricade, waves for the fans to move back and then hops up. Speede measures up von Liebert and then leaps off the barricade, connecting with an elbow drop across von Liebert's chest. von Liebert rolls off of the steps clutching his midsection as the crowd starts up a "Dub See Eff" chant. Speede now banging his fists on the ring steps, pumping himself up as the fans get louder. Speede spots the kendo stick von Liebert introduced earlier and he grabs it. von Liebert is still down on the ground holding himself and Speede adds to his misery with a shot across the legs. von Liebert lets out a yell and grabs for his legs but Speede connects again, this time across the stomach. Speede now swinging wildly, connecting with von Liebert, the floor and the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Roy Speede has snapped! And I kinda like it...
Zach Davis: Of course you do.
The kendo stick finally breaks and Speede tosses it into the crowd. von Liebert's body looks like a tic-tac-toe board. Speede looks like he's going to try and pick up von Liebert to put him in the ring when he looks over toward the table. He's got that look in his eyes like he's got a plan as he goes to the ring apron and pulls out a second table.
Shannan Lerch: What is Roy doing? von Liebert looks like he's on dream street. He should be trying to go for the win, not trying to add even more punishment.
Zach Davis: Well there have been some people talking about Speede's reign as Hardcore Champion not being that great. Maybe he's looking to prove a point.
Roy sets up the second table...and then stacks it on top of the other one!
Shannan Lerch: Oh god...
Speede now pulling von Liebert up to his feet and he rolls him onto the apron. Speede hops up onto the apron and then pulls von Liebert up. Speede now setting von Liebert up for Angels wings.
Zach Davis: He hits this move and he'll win the match...and maybe put von Liebert out of action.
But no!, von Liebert grabs the ropes, not letting Speede complete the move. NvL gives Speede a stiff shot to the face, then grabs his head in a very familiar way.
Zach Davis: Oh no... Straight Jacket-
HE HITS IT. STRAIGHT JACKET DROP OFF THE APRON, SENDING SPEEDE THROUGH THE TABLES!
Shannan Lerch: -DROP!
The crowd chants "HOLY SHIT!" as NvL quickly jumps off the apron and onto Speede, pinning him as the referee gets in position.
Zach Davis: IS THIS IT!?
The crowd erupts in booing!
Shannan Lerch: IT'S IT! NATHAN VON LIEBERT HAS DONE IT!
Zach Davis: WE'VE GOT A NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION!
Nathan's music hits as he lays on top of Speede, catching his breath, for several moments. Slowly he works his way to his feet, until he greedily grabs the Hardcore Title away from the referee giving it to him.
Shannan Lerch: Roy Speede has had one of the longest, greatest Hardcore Title reigns we've ever seen... but now begins the reign of Nathan von Liebert.
Zach Davis: We've seen Nathan vanquish Nightmare, the Polar Phantasm, and Frank Patrick Venable... now he's beaten Roy Speede. Nathan von Liebert is nothing short of a monster.
Nathan climbs into the ring as the booing continues and climbs up one turnbuckle, raising his new Title in the air as we go to commercial.
Zach Davis: And now it’s time for our main event!
Shannan Lerch: Ten bucks Eric Price no shows this match.
Zach Davis: That would be funny, but not a chance. Fly and Price have been on a collision course for this match for quite some time. It all comes to a head…right now.
The lights in the arena fade out. After a few suspense filled seconds the words ‘The Dynasty’ appear in bold italic lettering on the jumbotron as the beginning of “300 Violin Orchestra” begins to play. A single spotlight turns on and illuminates the silhouette of a man standing on the stage. The fans rise to their feet in unison as they await the arrival of the WCF Owner. As the song begins to speed up, the lights come on revealing Fly.
Jonny Fly stands on the stage with his eyes directly fixed on the ring. The jumbotron changes to the words ‘This is the Era of Jonny Fly’ as Fly stands and soaks in the applause from the sold out crowd. The music slows down and a barrage of fireworks begins to go off behind Fly. Slowly and deliberately he begins to make his way toward the ring. The music picks up one last time and Fly stops at the bottom of the ramp with his eyes still directly fixed on the ring. He stops and takes a few moments to scan the crowd before finally sliding into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: I know Jonny Fly, personally, really personally, and you can be sure that there are a lot of things running through his mind right now. The potential of losing this match, however, isn’t one of them.
Zach Davis: I’m sure you’re right Shannan. In his mind he’s only thinking about hurting Eric Price, not the ramifications of what a loss tonight would do to his image and control of this company.
“You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell begins to blare around the arena signaling the arrival of only one man. Gold lights start flashing with the beginning of the music. Eric Price slowly and confidently appears on the stage, a gold spotlight shining on him. Price smirks at the crowd as they stand and boo and toss obscenities at the WCF World Champion. Price mouths a couple of words of disgust toward the crowd and pats his belt proudly, directing his focus toward the ring and exchanging a long stare with Fly.
Fly slowly moves forward off the stage and down the ramp, eyeing nearly each crowd member as he passes. Price reaches ringside and walks to the left using the ring steps to help himself into the ring. He brushed past Fly and positions himself in the center of the ring and holds his World Title belt into the air, causing another wave of negative response from the crowd.
Kyle Steel: The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is a NO DISQUALIFICATION match to determine the terms of Eric Price’s contract. If Jonny Fly wins, he will determine Eric Price’s new contract terms and Price will be obligated to sign. If Eric Price is victorious, then he will determine the terms of his new contract and all current executive posts, with the exception of Jonny Fly remaining the owner will be vacated and left to Price to decide their replacements.
Kyle Steel: Introducing first, standing at 6’ 4” and weighing in at 250 lbs., from Pacific Palisades, CA, he is the reigning WCF World Champion, Mr. Eric Price!
Crowd: Price sucks! Price sucks! Price sucks!
Zach Davis: This crowd certainly hates Price with a passion!
Price mostly ignores them and hands his belt off to the referee before turning his focus toward Fly.
Kyle Steel: And his opponent, standing at 6’ 5” tall and weighing in at 225 lbs., he is the owner of WCF, Jonny Fly!
Crowd cheers loudly
Zach Davis: And we know who the fan favorite is here.
Zach Davis: Price and Fly are both in the ring ready to go now, Kyle Steel has stepped out and this match is about to begin!
Price and Fly exchange another long stare at one another. The bell is rung, and the match begins.
Shannan Lerch: HERE WE GO!
Like a cannon Fly explodes forward and simply tackles Price down to the mat, teeing off on his face with vicious left and right hands. Fly gets up and grabs hold of Price’s head and drives his knee into it. He repeats the same maneuver two more times before Eric Price wisely rolls out of the ring to regain his bearings.
Shannan Lerch: That start doesn’t surprise me. When he’s pushed, Jonny Fly seeks blood. He wants to make a statement quickly to Price that this isn’t going to be a normal match for him.
Zach Davis: Fly isn’t even letting Eric catch his breath. He’s already on the outside chasing after Price.
Price is circling the ring holding his head as Fly approaches behind him. Fly sprints forward driving his shoulder into Price’s back and knocking the World Champion headfirst into the steel ring post. Price crumbles to the ground. Fly reaches down and picks him up and then whips him into the steel ring steps. Not done yet, Fly brings Price up one more time and this time destroys him with a DDT right back onto the ring steps.
Shannan Lerch: Good. God.
Zach Davis: Jonny Fly is absolutely on fire right now. He’s having his way with the World Champion.
Fly slides back into the ring and scales the turnbuckle. He looks down at Eric Price and then jumps, hitting him with Jeff Purse’s trademark five-star frog splash.
Zach Davis: THE DEFLATOR!
Fly rolls off of Eric Price and stands back up on his feet. He stops for a moment and looks down at Price, lying motionless at ringside. Fly walks away toward the ring announcer’s area. He asks the timekeeper to stand up and promptly takes away his seat, chucking it into the ring. Fly turns back around, grabs the ring bell, and chucks that into the ring. He walks the few steps between himself and the ring announcers, pulls out their monitor from the table and chucks that into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Fly is literally taking everything he can get his hands on and throwing it into the ring.
Fly walks over to the ring and lifts the apron, fishing underneath for more weapons. Table? Yep. Fly grabs that and slides into the ring. Fly then reemerges with something else.
Zach Davis: Fly has a 2X4!
Fly walks toward the cameraman and sticks the piece of wood into his lens. There is a signature on the wood that reads ‘To Eric Price. From Jonny Fly, with love.’ Fly smiles and then chucks the wood into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like Fly took some initiative to place some toys underneath the ring.
Fly goes fishing underneath the ring once more and this time reveals a…golf club.
Zach Davis: That’s Eric Price’s golf club! It looks like Fly wasn’t the only one who hid some goodies underneath the ring.
Fly smiles and looks the club up and down. He pulls it down to his side and walks back over to Eric Price…who is nowhere to be found.
Shannan Lerch: Fly spent so much time collecting weapons that he lost track of Eric Price. Where is he?
Fly looks around, but Price isn’t anywhere that we can see. He’s not in the ring or at ringside. Suddenly a set of arms emerge from underneath the ring and grabs Fly’s ankles, yanking him to the ground. Price slides out from under the ring with his World Title in hand…
Zach Davis: Wait, how did he get that….?
Price smashes Fly over the head with the belt, once, twice, three times….Fly is eventually able to kick Price away on his fourth attempt. Fly springs back to his feet and with the golf club still in hand attempts to hit Price with it, but Price blocks it with the World Title. This time Fly tries to use the club to take Price out by the legs, but Price hops over the attempt and runs away up the ramp. Fly slides into the ring and watches as Price retreats all the way up the ramp yelling that ‘Fly is cheating.’
Shannan Lerch: Is Eric Price quitting on this match?
Zach Davis: Typical Price.
Fly is beside himself, demanding that Price return to the ring and finish the match. Price shakes his head ‘no’ and promptly disappears behind the curtain.
Zach Davis: Holy shit, he actually left. Eric Price just walked out on Jonny Fly!
Shannan Lerch: He’s just mad he was getting his ass kicked. I think he realized he didn’t any part of Jonny Fly tonight.
Fly demands a microphone and has one throw to him.
Fly: Price! Get your ass back out here.
Fly pauses, but Price doesn’t come back. The crowd begins to boo loudly.
Fly: I’m not playing this game. I will strip you of that World Title and ban you from this company forever, Price. This isn’t a joke and you better fuckin’ believe I have the power to do it. YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE TO GET BACK OUT HERE.
Zach Davis: Fly is pissed, and I don’t blame him one bit. Eric Price has taken this too far. He asked for this match and just walked out in the middle of it.
Shannan Lerch: WAIT!
As Fly stares toward the stage, Eric Price can be running through the crowd! Price hops over the security wall and slides into the ring. He grabs the chair in the ring….
Zach Davis: PRICE FROM BEHIND WITH THE CHAIR!
CRACK. Price destroys Fly over the head with the chair. Price walks around the ring, smirking, and taunting the crowd as Fly lies motionless on the ground. Price discards the chair and picks up the ring bell. He bends down next to Fly and begins beating him savagely over the head with it until it draws blood from Fly’s forehead.
Shannan Lerch: …just like that, Eric Price has Jonny Fly right where he wants him.
Zach Davis: I have to give it to him, crafty move disappearing just to take Fly by surprise. Classic Eric Price.
Price reaches down and lifts Fly to his feet. He pushes Fly into the turnbuckle and then whips him the length of the ring. Fly crashes into the turnbuckle headfirst and falls helplessly to the mat. Price confidently struts across the ring and brings Fly to his feet. Again, he pushes him into the turnbuckle. He proceeds to slap Fly across the face. Then again. Then again. Price goes for a third slap, but Fly grabs his hand out of the air, spins Price into the turnbuckle and sends his elbow into Price’s nose with all the force he can muster.
Shannan Lerch: OH! BIG shot from Fly. Price’s nose is just spilling out blood right now.
Zach Davis: He may have just broken that nose, Shannan. What a shot.
The blow jars Eric Price out of the corner where Fly utterly destroys him with the ‘Discus Fly!’
Shannan Lerch: DISCUS FLY!
Eric Price drops immediately to the mat, rolling around holding his face. Fly begins to go to work on his ribs with a variety of stiff kicks, following by an elbow drop, and then a leg drop. Fly gets back up to his feet and begins to set up the table. With it set-up, Fly grabs Eric Price and lays him on top of the table. Fly then walks over to the corner and jumps to the top rope. He positions himself forward and flies off hitting Price and driving him through the table with a suicide dive.
Zach Davis: THERE IT IS! SU-I-CIDE DIVE!
Shannan Lerch: Goodnight Eric Price!
Fly immediately pulls himself off of the table and hooks the leg for the cover.
Zach Davis: This could be it!
NO! Eric Price kicks out!
Zach Davis: Both men down on the outside of the ring, an all out personal war between these two over who is the better man. Former three time World Champion Jonny Fly and now owner of WCF insists that he is still the best whereas Eric Price, the current World Champion says that Fly’s time is over, it’s time for new blood, time for a change and that he is the man to lead that change into 2013.
Shannan Lerch: Price down and Fly is getting up. He decides to drag Eric Price here back into the ring. And look at Price, almost like dead weight here so it takes that much more to lift him back up into the ring. Fly goes into the ring following Price as Price is still down. Fly goes for another cover.
Zach Davis: And no, kick out! Price still in this and he’s not going to accept a loss. Fly I think is ready to wrap this up and he’s calling for it!
Shannan Lerch: Fly going to the corner to the top turnbuckle as Price is still down!
Zach Davis: This could be it…FLY SWATTER. Connects!
The referee slides into position as Fly goes for the cover.
Zach Davis: And Jonny Fly wins it after that huge, grueling match between Price and Fly! Price tried everything he could but it just wasn’t enough, he is indeed another Flyjobber now!
Jonny Fly stands up and his arm is raised. The crowd starts booing and Fly turns to see Gravedigger has jumped the guardrail, coming from the crowd.
Zach Davis: What is this?! What is Gravedigger doing out here?
Gravedigger hops up onto the apron and Fly is angry. He’s begging Gravedigger to bring his Flyjobber ass in the ring. Gravedigger grins as he sees Adrian hop the guardrail and slide into the ring behind Fly. Fly doesn’t even know he’s there as Adrian hits him with a huge forearm from behind. Fly turns around and starts fighting off Adrian, but Gravedigger climbs into the ring and joins Adrian. The two men beat Jonny Fly down to the mat and start hammering him with boots. After a few seconds, Adrian picks him up and Gravedigger plants Fly with a Death Driver.
Zach Davis: What the hell is the meaning of this?!
Digger goes and checks on Price, who pushes him out of the way as he gets to his feet. Eric immediately jumps on Fly and starts hammering him in the forehead with big rights, busting him open after a few seconds. Price stands up and gestures to Adrian and Gravedigger and the three men stomp away at Fly viciously. Price demands a microphone as he is catching his breath.
Eric Price: You see Fly, you may have won the battle but the war is far from over. I had talked to Gravedigger about hiring him as my enforcer but to also get the Mara Salvatrucha, MS-13 as an added bonus, I didn’t expect that! Gravedigger, you are doing a great job here, beat the hell out of him!
Zach Davis: What a heinous assault!
Shannan Lerch: This is perverse! This is sick!
Eric Price: So congratulations, you beat me Jonny Fly … for tonight. But the real winner of the war, the better man here is yours truly, the WCF World Champion, Mr. Eric Price!
Eric Price and Gravedigger embrace in the middle of the ring celebrating together as both men raise each other’s hands in victory as Fly is down in pain!
Eric Price: Fly, you brought this on yourself! We are now firmly entrenched in the era of Eric Price!
Crowd: You suck! You suck! You suck!
Zach Davis: Vile, heinous actions by Price and Gravedigger along with MS-13 here tonight. Gravedigger not expected here tonight and he has sent shockwaves by attacking Jonny Fly and coming to the aid of the WCF World Champion Eric Price. Pantheon is still in power but Eric Price says that his era, the era of Eric Price is rolling on. What will happen at Slam next week. Good night everyone!
Payback fades to black.
