World Title Match: Oblivion vs Greenfever
Blood and a Siren by Index Case hits and the fans in the New Alhambra explode as Rebirth is on the air! We go to our announcers for the night, Zach Davis and Shannan Lerch.
Zach Davis: Fans, welcome to Rebirth! This is our first PPV since Gravedigger shut us down... and the only PPV name we had legal rights to for some reason.. and its an appropriate title.
Shannan Lerch: It sure is, Zach. Speaking of Gravedigger, Seth has called him out here tonight... I can't wait for this.
Zach Davis: In our main event, Oblivion and Greenfever are going one on one for the World Title.
Shannan Lerch: Oblivion won the Trilogy Cup Tournament, winning three huge PPV matchups in a row. Greenfever, on the other hand, won a qualifying match and then a big World Title match to earn the belt. These are two men with a LOT of momentum on their side.
Zach Davis: They're also two graduates of the hardcore division... I have a feeling we're going to see a very violent World Title matchup tonight, and I can't wait.
Shannan Lerch: Speaking of violent, we've got a Television Title match tonight between Adam Young, Ace Garrison, and Doc Henry. This one has been building for quite a while.
Zach Davis: First, Adam Young issued the challenge to Ace Garrison. Then, however, Doc Henry beat Garrison for the belt... two weeks in a row. This is Garrison's final shot at his beloved Championship.
Shannan Lerch: Interesting United States Title Contendership match... Karl Voronov and D-Day are going at it. They, along with Garrison, were all kidnapped by some mysterious masked men last week. They were released as police arrived on the scene, and they're all cleared to wrestle, but.. what the hell is going on?
Zach Davis: In our Hardcore Title match, we'll see Jaguar, Shaun Jackson, Jonathan Swift, and Slickie T competing for the belt. This is the Ace of Hardcore's first run with the belt, and he has four challengers to deal with in this matchup.
Shannan Lerch: KashVille are once again in action, against Bishop and Priest! Always good to see our tag division in action.
Zach Davis: We've got a three way between Anastasia Petrova, Jakob Azazel, and Super Anime. Super Anime and Petrova just did well in their matches last week but came up a lot short, and Azazel is debuting.
Shannan Lerch: We have a Tag Titles match between the New Confederacy and the Cash Money Nightmares! Yes, Doc Henry is wrestling twice in one night, which is why this match is going on so early, even though its a big one.
Zach Davis: They had a fantastic run with the Tag Titles months ago, and haven't been able to reclaim the belts since.. tonight just might be their night.
Shannan Lerch: And in our opener, Creeping Death and Logan will compete and the loser must leave WCF for two weeks or something, I don't know. Is anyone going to take that stipulation seriously, with those two?
Zach Davis: Only one way to find out!
Creeping Death vs Logan
Loser Leaves WCF For Like Two Weeks Or Something, Whatever Match
Zach Davis: Kicking off the night, as mentioned, will be a main event quality match between two former World Champions and enemies... Logan verses Creeping Death!
The beginning drum intro of "The Struggle Within" by Metallica plays loudly and rumbles the speakers. Fans all too familiar to the theme for this certain superstar cover their ears to shield them from the extremely loud drum roll. Despite the deafening noise, they cheer and chant a name. . .
LO - GAN! LO - GAN! LO - GAN!
After the climax of the epic drum intro the song breaks into rhythm and Logan appears at the top of the ramp to stand in place. He looks totally furious yet determined, narrowing his eyebrows and clamping his lips tight and taking deep breaths in through his nose while looking around at the screaming excited audience.
LO - GAN! LO - GAN! LO - GAN!
Despite the maddening expression, something about his presence gives off the idea that he's happy to be there. And so, Logan makes his descend down the ramp. He hits ringside and slides in underneath the bottom rope with a quickness. Logan climbs the nearest turnbuckle and fixates glaring eyes on the crowd. They cheer, anticipating an upcoming taunt they've learned to play along with. . . and BOOM! - Logan shoots both his arms straight up in the air like bottle rockets!
LO - GAN! LO - GAN! LO - GAN!
The audience duplicates the dramatic taunt, holding their arms in the air with Logan. The passion in his eyes never dies as he slumps his arms back down to his sides and hops off the turnbuckle. "The Struggle Within" fades out leaving Logan to pace the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Hard to pick a winner here, Zach. I mean, I hate CD, but Logan put his thingy in my butt without asking one time..
Zach Davis: ONE time..?
The lights in the venue suddenly cut to black as the familiar opening to "For Whom the Bell Tolls" plays. The crowd is jacked up and gets louder after every toll. After six tolls, there is silence. Then, the intro for "Blood and a Siren" by Index Case plays. After the little guitar intro, when the song gets intense, a spotlight hits the curtain and Creeping Death emerges, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up. He headbangs with the crowd as they throw up the devil horns, and he does the same back to them on his way to the ring. CD enters the ring by sliding in through the bottom rope. Inside, he walks to the far corner, leaps up and takes a seat on the top rope, awaiting the match to begin.
Zach Davis: Both men are in the ring.
DING DING. There's the bell. CD takes things over fast with a running yakuza kick straight to Logan's face, popping the crowd. Logan fires back after shrugging the boot off with a forearm smash. CD answers with a forearm of his own. Without even losing a beat, BOOM, Logan slaps the shit out of CD's mouth! CD no sells that crap and slaps Logan himself! Logan is furious, and drops CD with the quickest Impact Style backflip kick in history! Logan dives into the pin!
kickout! The crowd is on FIRE!
Zach Davis: WOW what a start!
Logan picks CD up and whips him into the ropes. CD ducks a clothesline and hits the other side ropes. Logan is ready for him and presses CD into the lights. CD, however, turns it and backflips himself into a DDT, spiking Logan on his head! CD doesn't hesitate at all as he hits the ropes and does a Lionsault onto Logan!
KICKOUT! The Arena crowd has no idea what the hell is going on.
Shannan Lerch: Chaos! Two sure finishes this early, and we're still going!
CD pulls Logan up, but Logan breaks free of CD's grasp, hitting another big forearm smash. Then another. But CD isn't going down. Logan hits the ropes and comes back to a boot to the gut. CD goes for a Fameasser which is blocked, and spun into a powerbomb position. CD hits a couple right hands to Logan's head to no avail. Logan turns and throws CD into the turnbuckle! CD violently snaps off and stumbles into a big spear, sending him back into the corner! Logan stays in the position and drives his shoulder into CD's gut twice more before backing off. Logan presses once again, this time putting CD on the top rope and climbing up with him!
Zach Davis: Logan looking to end this fairly early with a big move..
And Logan does just that. A simply ASTOUNDING top rope belly to belly suplex that sends CD almost the entire way across the ring. Logan stands up, jaws with the crowd, and casually walks over to CD, placing a foot on his chest for the pin.
NO CD kicks out.
Shannan Lerch: What the hell?
Logan isn't exactly livid, but he's not happy. He lazily kicks at CD's prone body for a bit, getting the crowd riled up, playing off his old heel personality. Logan pulls CD off the mat and swings CD around... right into the referee! Moser goes down hard and even falls out of the ring. Logan, having the match in full control, kind of loses it. CD ducks a clothesline attempt and drops Logan with a desperation Snad Cutter!
Suddenly, Brad Kane of all people comes out from the back! He's already sweaty, and only wearing underwear and a tie. The crowd pops huge, knowing he's been banging Megan Kane. CD looks over to see what is going on and kind of laughs himself. Kane, now at the ring apron, takes his tie off and tosses it to CD, smiles, and walks to the back like nothing ever happened. At this point, the crowd is insane. CD holds the tie up to the biggest pop EVER. Logan is using the ropes to get to his feet, and CD walks up behind him.
Shannan Lerch: No... NOOOO!
AND CD STARTS CHOKING LOGAN OUT WITH THE TIE! CD is relentless, pulling as hard as he can. He even kicks out a leg, dropping Logan to his stomach and proceeds to sit on him in a camel clutch type position! The crowd cannot stop marking out! Logan is tapping out, but the ref is out on the floor.. or is he? Moser is getting back into the ring! Before he can see what is happening, CD slips the tie into his shorts and locks on the fastest Cattle Mutilation submission hold! Crowd is now white hot! But Logan isn't tapping. Moser comes over to check, and Logan is fighting the hold. Inch by inch, Logan makes his way to the bottom rope with his toes, forcing CD to break the hold!
Zach Davis: Awesome.
Logan complains to Moser about the tie, but there's nothing he can do. CD rolls Logan up from behind!
As fast as that, CD has Logan in a bridging pin!
Logan kicks out again! Logan now goes for a small package... and it's blocked! CD pulls Logan up and drops him directly on his head with a brainbuster!
Zach Davis: HE DID IT!
Shannan Lerch: WHAT!
Creeping Death pinned Logan in the middle of the ring!
The New Confederacy vs The Cash Money Nightmares
"Renegade" by Styx begins to play over the PA system as Johnny Reb and Doc Henry step out onto the stage. Images of past matches play on the Jumbotron, while both men make their way down the ramp, working the crowd at ringside. Doc mounts the ring steps in a dignified manner, while Johnny slips through the ropes. Both men take a moment to pose for the fans before going to their corner to await the bell.
The arena turns black. Gold dollar signs flash about the arena. There is a red glow, as red lights illuminate the arena. Aspyxiated by Crimson Thorn begin to echo throughout the arena. The slamming drums, throbbing bass, and the thrashing guitars take over all sound, within the arena. The Dark Angel and Fort Knox comes up from a hole in the stage, that is surrounded with golden fireworks. El Angel Oscuro and Fort Knox hold out their arms, with fists clinched. As red lazers flash with the slamming drums, two bright continuous white pyro explosions explode on both sides of Fort Knox and The Dark Angel. As gold sparkling pyro set off behind them, the two jump up and land with red pyro explosion. They begin to slowly walk down the aisle.
Kyle Steel: Weighing in at an combined weight of 510 pounds.... El Angel Oscuro and Fort Knox... THE CASH MONEY NIGHTMARES!!
There is a mixed reaction, from the crowd. The nightmares walk up to the ring and The Dark Angel drops to his knees to a prayer position, as Fort Knox holds out his arms. Dark Angel puts his hands together and acts if he is praying. Fort Knox shakes his head rapidly, as he talks smack. After a few seconds , El Angel Oscuro and Fort Knox look straight up and holds out their hands with the palms up. The Dark Angel hops up and they slide into the ring. The Express walks towards separate corners. They climb up to the second turnbuckles and hold up their arms out.... A red spotlight shines on The Cash Money Nightmares. The Dark Angel and Fort Knox drops down from the turnbuckles and they lean into their corners...
Johnny Reb and El Angel Oscuro start the match. Reb uses his speed to get the early advantage, hitting the Dark Angel with the Facebreaker DDT and several top rope attacks, including a Dragonrana and Moonsault, going for pins but having Oscuro kick out at two each time.
Zach Davis: Reb looking good here. He really wants to get back on top.
Reb goes to tag in Henry, but Henry shakes his head no, telling Reb that he's doing fine. Reb looks somewhat surprised and more than a little annoyed, but goes back on the attack.
Shannan Lerch: What the... ?
Zach Davis: I think Doc wants Reb to do most of the work, since Doc has to compete later tonight still in the Television Title match.
That delay gives El Angel Oscuro the chance he needs to kick Reb in the gut and hit a Powerbomb! He kneels down and pins Reb.
No, Henry gets in the ring and kicks the Dark Angel off.
Shannan Lerch: Well, Doc DOES want to win this match, and he's not totally abandoning his partner, at least.
El Angel Oscuro has full control of Reb now, however. He throws him to the ropes and hits a Spinebuster and he follows that up with a Flying Clothesline from the top rope! He tops it off with a Spinning Heel kick once Reb stumbles to his feet and then locks in the STF.
Zach Davis: Painful submission here!
But once again Henry breaks it up. He then hits El Angel Oscuro with a Spear! El Angel Oscuro flies back and he tags in Fort Knox.
Knox gets in and Henry runs at him and hits another Spear, sending him down! He quickly pulls Reb onto Knox.
No! Knox kicks out. Henry isn't happy but the ref forces him out of the ring. Reb slowly gets to his feet and takes Knox's hand. He climbs to the top rope it and jumps down, chopping Knox, and then locks in the Stars and Bars!
Shannan Lerch: There it is!
Knox has no choice! He taps out!
Doc Henry quickly enters the ring and grabs the two Tag Team Titles. He's already wearing the Television Title around his waist. He holds both up to a decent pop from the audience before helping the tired Johnny Reb up to his feet and handing one of the belts to him.
Zach Davis: Well, I have to be honest. Not to take anything away from Doc, but it seems like Reb did most of the work in this match...
Shannan Lerch: A win is a win, Zach, and Doc did get some sweet Spears in there!
After exchanging a few words Doc and Reb climb seperate turnbuckles and hold their Titles up high before exiting the ring and heading to the back.
Malachi Wanderlust Segment
The arena lights dim to black and then an intense white spotlight casts downward to the center of the ring, up the ramp to the center of the entrance stage as Broken, Beaten and Scarred by Metallica begins to play. About forty seconds into the song, with the first pause and drum transition, a six foot seven, three hundred plus pound muscle-man emerges from the backstage area dressed in all black gear. His long black hair is slicked wet, and the music obviously pumps him up. At the top of the ramp, he stops for a moment and lets the music play while rousing up the fans in various unscripted ways: pumping his fist, banging his head, etc. At about the one minute mark, with the second drum transition, he slides his thumb across his throat and spits a white cloud of mist upwards into the air, then there's a large burst of white pyro that signals him to head down the ramp towards the ring with the spotlight on him the whole way, slapping a few outstretched hands from on-looking hands. When the lyrics begin at approximately a minute and fifteen seconds, he rocks his way between the top two ropes and heads directly towards one of the four corners to raise his fists into the air and pose for the audience to gawk or take pictures. At about two minutes and twenty seconds, this specimen stands ring-center and three bursts of white pyro spring from the ring-posts as the words "We die hard" ring out before the music quiets down and he asks for a microphone.
Malachi Wanderlust: My name is Malachi Wanderlust and they call me Murderer’s Row. Tonight, at Rebirth, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a beacon in the world of extreme wrestling…
The crowd pops at the mention of their hometown and there’s a small pause in Wanderlust’s speech.
Malachi Wanderlust: … I’ve come with one purpose: to hurt somebody and make an impact, so that Wrestling Championship Federation fans in Philadelphia will begin to tell their friends in other cities. When you leave the show tonight, I want you to call your friends on the way home and tell them that the whole card was great, but a huge newcomer stole the show… But I’m not going to run my mouth and tell you what I can do… Get my competition out here. Where is he?
Shannan Lerch: I don’t know anything about this guy, but he’s definitely big. I guess that’s a little redundant, and obvious.
Zach Davis: Karl Voronov big. Let’s see what he can do in the ring before we start singing his praises though.
Shannan Lerch: You heard the challenge, and Cryboy McEmo is on his way out here to answer it. It’s an opportunity to showcase his talents for this pay per view audience even if the match isn’t broadcast.
Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional cranks up over the public address system and Cryboy McEmo heads out towards the ring from the backstage area. There’s not much reaction from the crowd towards this very average looking competitor, however he seems to have a bit of confidence and a chip on his shoulder. For a moment, he stops to argue with a fan near ringside.
Before Cryboy McEmo can even enter the ring, a pumped up Wanderlust launches himself over the top rope to the outside. The three-hundred pounder knocks McEmo down to the padded concrete with the suicide dive before pulling him up to his feet by his hair.
Zach Davis: Wow… I didn’t know white guys could jump like that!
Shannan Lerch: I didn’t know men of three hundred pounds could fly like that.
Wanderlust slams a couple of fists into McEmo’s head and then puts one hand under his head and the other under his crotch, lifts McEmo up over his head, and throws him up into the ring between the top and second rope. While McEmo is getting to his feet, Wanderlust pulls himself up to the ring apron, then uses his massive arms to power himself over the top rope and catch McEmo in the jaw with his springboard shoulder tackle.
Shannan Lerch: Who is this guy?
Though the maneuvers from Wanderlust have been impressive, they’ve not been all that highly impactful and this allows McEmo to stagger up to his feet. Wanderlust doesn’t seem to mind and allows McEmo to club him in the chest with a couple of forearms before delivering a boot to the gut, doubling McEmo over. Wanderlust quickly grabs him around the waste, wrenches him up and powerbombs him down to the mat. And this finally seems to knock the remaining wind out of McEmo’s sails.
Zach Davis: Not a good night for Cryboy McEmo, Shannan.
Shannan Lerch: No, not at all. I think this one may be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
Wanderlust brings his thumb across his neck, signaling that the finish is near, and then shows the crowd that he intends to press McEmo above his head again. Wanderlust takes a step towards McEmo who is motionless, but then stops midway and shakes his finger with a grin. He hops out of the ring and pulls a wooden folding table out from beneath the ring and slides it inside under the bottom rope
Zach Davis: I’m not sure Seth Lerch is going to approve of this.
Shannan Lerch: I doubt it, but the fans seem to.
The audience roars at the sight of the table and Wanderlust takes his time setting it up inside the ring before motioning to the crowd that he’s going to press slam McEmo through the table while McEmo is making his way up to his feet. The crowd cheers again and Wanderlust doubles McEmo over once again with another gut-shot before heaving McEmo up above his head and extending his arms. Wanderlust turns the moment into a photo opportunity before dropping McEmo behind his back so that he crashes down through the table splintering it into numerous pieces. One more time the crowd makes some noise to show their approval.
Zach Davis: Like it or not, it’s over.
As a final touch, without looking, Wanderlust performs a standing moonsault to the downed McEmo who is lying in the scraps of the broken table behind Wanderlust. Wanderlust rolls McEmo over, out of the wreckage and onto his back, then covers him for the referee’s count.
Zach Davis: Cleanup!
Shannan Lerch: Impressive debut by the intense, agile and powerful Malachi Wanderlust.
Wanderlust’s music starts up again while the referee raises his arm into the air. There’s not a drop of sweat on this brute and he’s not hanging out long to celebrate the win. He seems to understand that this opponent was just a lamb being lead to slaughter and only the first in a long line that he will have to defeat to work his way up the ranks to make a name for himself in the Wrestling Championship Federation. Kyle Steel makes the official announcement while Wanderlust is on his way towards the backstage area and then as quickly as the newcomer arrived, he disappears behind the curtains.
Anastasia Petrova vs Jakob Azazel vs Super Anime
Na Rasputye by Kipelov plays and the lights turn red as Anastasia Petrova prances about the stage. She goes to the ring and says hi to the fans and blows them kisses while shaking her booty!
The lights rapidly swap between being off and being purple as "Trophy Kill" performed by The Agonist starts up and the sound circulates around the arena courtesy of the public announce system... but no one shows up.
Zach Davis: ...hm?
Shannan Lerch: Jakob Azazel was supposed to debut tonight, but I guess he's decided not to grace us with his presence. Interesting. Singles match between two of WCF's female competitors it is, then!
The Mortal Kombat theme begins to play while the crowd gets to their feet. Once "Fight" is said, Super Anime comes out from the back. She high fives most of the fans before heading into the ring. Super Anime then backs into a corner and waits.
A bit thrown off by the lack of Azazel, Petrova and Anime pace for several moments before tying up.
Zach Davis: Its rare to get a female vs female match here in WCF, this should prove interesting.
Anime gets the early upper hand, throwing Petrova to the ropes and hitting an Arm Drag as she comes back. Petrova gets up again and again Anime throws her to the ropes and hits another Arm Drag. She then stomps on Petrova for several minutes, working her over and wearing her down.
Shannan Lerch: Super Anime firmly in control here.. Petrova needs to find an opening..
And as Super Anime climbs to the top rope, Petrova lunges and throws her off, sending her crashing to the outside!
Shannan Lerch: Yup. Just like that.
Super Anime stumbles up and Petrova runs at her, hitting a Suicide Dive between the ropes! Both wrestlers lay on the ground outside for several moments while the ref begins counting them out.
Zach Davis: They've gotta get back in the ring though..
Eventually Petrova gets up and rolls Super Anime back into the ring. She then climbs back onto the apron and Springboards into the ring, hitting a Leg Drop onto Super Anime and pinning her!
No! Super Anime kicks out.
Petrova picks Super Anime up... and hits the Cold War! She pins Anime, hooking the leg.
Petrova celebrates in the ring, stripping and being generally slutty. Super Anime leaves, somewhat disgusted at Petrova's slutty display.
KashVille vs Bishop/Priest
"Influence" by: Trapt plays as Jason Kash and Tommy Knoxville appear from behind the Entrance curtain. The fans giving a mixed reaction get their attention as they throw up the Influential Minds handsign. They stroll down to the ring, Knoxville sliding into the ring as Kash jogs up the steel stairs. They taunt some more and prepare for battle.
"Set this stage on fire" by Lil Wayne is playing as Bishop and Priest walk out from the back. As they walk down the ramp, a line of fire lights up the stage and down the sides of the ramp, all the way to the ring. Bishop and Priest walk down it and climb in the ring and pose on different sides of the ring, looking out menacingly at the crowd.
Zach Davis: Here are the two teams. Lets get this started-
Suddenly, Brad Kane appears on stage, mic in hand.
Brad Kane: I'm gonna make this short and sweet. This match is now a Tag Team Titles number one contenders match!
Brad Kane: And just for the hell of it... we'll make it a ladder match too! The contract for the Tag Team Titles shot is going to drop down in a briefcase in a matter of seconds, so just climb up the ladder to get it. Have fun!
Shannan Lerch: Did you hear that, Zach!? A ladder match.. for a shot at the Tag Team Titles!
Zach Davis: Of course I heard it, Shannan.
Immediately, Kash and Knoxville slide out of the ring and start looking under the apron for ladders. However, Bishop and Priest come up behind them and start hitting them. Bishop throws Knoxville to one set of ring steps, and Priest throws Kash to the other set. For several minutes Bishop brawls with Knoxville and Kash brawls with Priest.
Shannan Lerch: This is going to be a very physical matchup... and what a chance for KashVille, this is only their second real match in WCF!
Priest grabs Kash's throat and picks him up, slamming him first into the turnbuckle and then Chokeslamming him to the mat! The crowd ooooh's. Meanwhile, Bishop just Powerbombed Knoxville hard into the cement floor!
Zach Davis: Bishop and Priest, firmly in control here... not good for KashVille.
Bishop and Priest grab a ladder from under the ring and climb into it. They set it up and Bishop begins climbing, slowly, carefully, while Priest watches Kash and Knoxville, who are both getting to their feet.
Shannan Lerch: This is one disadvantage Bishop and Priest have. Since they're both so huge, they're going to have problems climbing that ladder.
Both Kash and Knoxville are up, and they see Bishop climbing. Kash and Knoxville split up and slide into different parts of the ring. Priest attacks Kash, but Knoxville makes it to the ladder, pulling Bishop down. Bishop crashes hard and Knoxville hits him with a huge T-Bone Suplex!
Zach Davis: Damn!
Knoxville then comes behind Priest and hits him with a few forearm shots to the back of the head. Knoxville then sweeps his legs while Kash connects with a huge Clothesline!
Shannan Lerch: They call that the Up and Under!
They shove Bishop and Priest out of the ring and then Knoxville begins climbing the ladder, with Kash keeping watch on Bishop and Priest. Whenever Bishop or Priest tries to get in the ring, Kash runs at them and keeps them out.
Zach Davis: KashVille could have this won already!
A man with large muscles and braids enters the ring out of nowhere! He Clotheslines Kash in the back of the head and then grabs the ladder, tipping it over and causing Knoxville to fall out of the ring, crashing to the mat below!
Shannan Lerch: Who the hell is that?
Zach Davis: I think its Bishop and Priests' older brother Tiny!
Tiny then quickly exits the ring and leaves once again through the crowd. Priest starts climbing the ladder. But Kash is up and grabs Bishop and begins brawling with him. Knoxville gets onto the apron and Springboards into the ring, Dropkicking the ladder and causing Priest to fall off before he could grab the belts!
Shannan Lerch: The bigger they are.. the harder they fall!
After this, Kash hits Bishop with a quick DDT before kicking him out of the ring. Knoxville and Kash double team Priest, with Kash hitting a Bulldog and a Half Nelson Facebuster, with Knoxville hitting a Russian Legsweep and then putting him into an STF while Kash began to climb the ladder!
Zach Davis: No way Priest can get out of that before Kash reaches the top...
But Bishop has recovered enough to slide back into the ring and hit Kash a few times. Kash slumps but doesn't fall off. Bishop climbs up the ladder as well, on the opposite side as Kash. They meet at the top and begin brawling.
Shannan Lerch: This is very dangerous for both men...
Knoxville releases the STF and kicks Priest out of the ring. He then grabs Bishop and Powerbombs him off the ladder! Kash reaches up and grabs the briefcase!
Kash jumps down, briefcase in hand. He and Knoxville celebrate in the ring as their music plays.
Zach Davis: We have new contenders for the Tag Team Titles... KashVille!
Shannan Lerch: Very intriguing! They've been here a short time but they've certainly proved themselves to be very... influential!
Seth Lerch/Fort Knox Segment
Seth is sitting in his office as Fort Knox enters.
Fort Knox: You wanted to see me?
Seth Lerch: Yep. Have a seat.
Knox sits in front of Seth's desk.
Seth Lerch: First of all, I'd like to thank you for the huge investment you've made in WCF going forward. With the money you've contributed, I'm certain I'll be able to buy back the PPV name rights, at the very least. I've already obtained the rights to Slam, and we're getting that back next week! And most likely run in some bigger arenas.
Fort Knox: Glad to help, Seth. I'm sure the investment I've made in your company will come back to me tenfold, at the very least!
Seth Lerch: I agree. But unfortunatly, Knox, since you're now a shareholder I'm going to have to release you from your WCF talent contract. I've had shareholders involved in wrestling before, and well... it doesn't work out. So as of today.. future endeavors, blah blah..
Fort Knox: So I don't have to be in the Society anymore?
Seth Lerch: That is correct.
Fort Knox: Thank fuckin' God! I was sick and tired of those freaks anyway! Time to sit back and collect stock dividends!
Knox leaves Seth's office, happy as can be.
Jaguar vs Shaun Jackson vs Jonathan Swift vs Slickie T
Lights fade, blue and lime green strobe lights go flickering out through the arena as "Invincible" by Adelitas Way blares through the arena. The crowd goes wild as "The Oracle" walks out from the back. He looks around at the crowd and starts slowly walking down the ramp. He steps up on the ring apron walks in the middle turns and looks at he crowd the gets in the ring goes to the turnbuckle gets up on the middle turnbuckle and raises his arms in a "Randy Orton-esque" motion and then jumps down and waits for his opponent.
Slipknot's "Psychosocial" hits as Shaun Jackson walks out from behind the curtain. He stops at the top of the ramp and looks out at the crowd before heading down the ramp, occasionally stopping to slap an extended hand or two. He then slides into the ring under the bottom rope and stands in the center as he takes off his beanie and t-shirt and throws them into the waiting crowd.
"Wanted Dead Or Alive" by Bon Jovi starts up as Jaguar walks out from the back. He makes his way down the ramp but instead of getting into the ring, he stops by the announce table and grabs a microphone.
Jaguar: Seth Lerch, when I came here I didn't sign up to be a crash dummy in one of your garbage hardcore matches. Hardcore wrestling is evil, and all those who partake in it are suicidal and stupid. So Jackson, Swift and Slickie, enjoy bashing in the last remaining brain cells that you have left.
Jaguar drops the microphone onto the announce table and heads back up the ramp, leaving the crowd, Swift and Jackson all in a state of confusion.
Shannan Lerch: Well now that was odd.
Zach Davis: Did Jaguar really just pull himself out of this Hardcore Title Match?
Shannan Lerch: Apparently so.
Zach Davis: You don't see that everyday.
"Gravesend (Lake of Fire)" plays over the speakers as Slickie makes his way through the black curtain, turning his back to the crowd and making his famous "T" symbol with outstretched arms. Once the words to the song begin, he quickly turns and looks over the crowd, giving a smirk before making his way down the ramp, extending his hand to those that are already outstretched. Once reaching the ring, he stands on the ring apron, using the top rope to vault himself into the center of the ring. He then climbs the turnbuckle and outstretches his arms to form a "T" once again before doing a back flip into the center of the ring and awaiting his opponent or the opening bell, whichever the case may be.
Zach Davis: Okay for those of you just tuning in or just returning from the bathroom, our four way match for the Hardcore Title has become a triple threat match after Jaguar came out and announced that he was pulling himself from the match.
Shannan Lerch: We still have what proves to be one heck of a contest, with Shaun Jackson vs Johnathan Swift vs the current Hardcore Champ Slickie T.
Zach Davis: And there's the bell and this match is underway.
Shannan Lerch: Right from the start both Slickie T and Swift are going after Jackson.
Zach Davis: Smart strategy there Shannan. Take out the biggest man and you've eliminated the biggest threat early.
Shannan Lerch: Jackson holds his own for a few moments but the numbers game catches up to him quick. Swift and Slickie whip him into the ropes and when he comes back Swift drops him with a drop toe hold.
Zach Davis: Slickie right there with a beautiful standing moonsault and we have our first pin attempt of the match.
Shannan Lerch: But Jackson powers out before the two count. And uh oh it seems like the brief alliance has faded.
Zach Davis: Swift in Slickie's face, obviously not happy with the pin attempt. But this is everyman for himself and Slickie is the one with the title on the line.
Shannan Lerch: And here we go. Slickie and Swift trading shots. Lefts and rights flying as they brawl all over the ring.
Zach Davis: And there's Jackson getting back to his feet. Neither Slickie or Swift seem to notice he's up. Where's he headed to now?
Shannan Lerch: It looks like he's leaving the ring and is now looking underneath. He pulls out a steel chair and slides it into the ring and then slides himself in.
Zach Davis: Slickie and Swift still going at it, both clueless as Jackson hunches down in the corner. I wonder wha...
Shannan Lerch: And Jackson explodes out of the corner running right at Slickie...who ducks out of the way as Jackson nearly breaks Swift in two with a hellacious looking spear.
Zach Davis: Bah Gawd what a spear!
Shannan Lerch: Should we start calling you Good Ol' ZD?
Zach Davis: Your Royal Highness will be just fine.
Shannan Lerch: And even Slickie T looked like he flinched a little at that impact as Swift rolls out of the ring clutching his ribs.
Unnecessary replay after replay is shown for no apparent reason other than to annoy the viewers that paid for the PPV.
Zach Davis: And Jackson is standing at the ropes taunting Swift, not even bothering to pay attention to Slickie who is standing behind him.
Shannan Lerch: Rookie mistake their Zach. You never take your eyes off an opponent, even when they're lying on their back.
Zach Davis: A position you know quite well, eh Shannan.
Shannan Lerch: Zach, are you forgetting that my brother owns this company?
Zach Davis: I'll stop now.
Shannan Lerch: And Jackson finally turns around...and Slickie snaps off the Omerta. Jackson ducks at the last possible second and moves off to the side, a look of obvious shock on his face.
Zach Davis: I guess he finally remembered Slickie T was in the match.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie holds up his fingers to show Jackson just how close it was to being over for him.
Zach Davis: Jackson with a bit of a cocky shoulder shrug...and it looks like he's challenging Slickie T to lock up with him. I've never seen Slickie back down from a challenge..but this could be a bad idea.
Shannan Lerch: And Slickie moves in to ti...wait a second what's going on over there?
Zach Davis: It seems there's a commotion going on in the crowd. I can't quite see what's going on but..wait a second. Is that...
A fan dressed in all black with a rubber clown mask pulled over his head and face is running through the crowd. He jumps the barricade and grabs Swift, who was finally starting to recover, and slams him shoulder first into the ring post.
Shannan Lerch: What the hell is going on? Where's security?
The fan pulls Swift off the ring post and then throws him shoulder first into it again.
Zach Davis: And Jackson and Slickie aren't doing anything but stand in the ring and watch as this fan attacks Johnathan Swift.
As Swift rolls on the ground clutching his shoulder, the fan rummages under the ring before pulling out a table. He sets it up and grabs Swift before lifting him up and sending him crashing through the table with a suplex.
Shannan Lerch: Again I ask, WHERE IS SECURITY??
The fan is shown stomping away viciously at the battered shoulder and ribs of Swift as security finally runs out to ringside to stop him. The fan stops as soon as he sees them and hops the barricade before taking off through the crowd with security right behind him.
Zach Davis: And maybe now we can get things back to order.
Shannan Lerch: Order? Zach we just had a fan take out one of our wrestlers. And that's after one of them pulled out of this match earlier because apparently hardcore wrestling is evil.
Zach Davis: This is WCF Shannan, anything can and will happen.
Shannan Lerch: And Slickie and Jackson seem to be thinking like you as they go right back to what they were doing. They tie up in the center of the ring with Jackson getting the advantage. He whips Slickie into the ropes and goes for a clothesline.
Zach Davis: But Slickie ducks it and hits the ropes behind Jackson. He comes back and goes for a forearm smash to Jackson's back..but it barely budges the big man.
Shannan Lerch: Jackson turns around and Slickie wastes no momentum, going at his legs with kick after kick.
Zach Davis: That's the veteran mentality of Slickie. He knows that if you take a big man's legs out you can wear him down quicker.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie hits a big kick that sends Jackson down to one knee. He turns, runs to the ropes, and comes back with a running ddt!
Zach Davis: Pin attempt.
Shannan Lerch: And Jackson kicks out before the three count.
Zach Davis: Slickie taking his time here as stalks Jackson as he tries to get up. Slickie sees an opening and grabs him from behind. Tries to spin him around for the T-Bone...
Shannan Lerch: But Jackson powers out of it and sends Slickie chest first into the corner!
Zach Davis: Slickie stumbles out of the corner backward and Jackson grabs hold before snapping off a German Suplex. He maintains the hold and stands Slickie back up, looks like he's trying to set him up for another German.
Shannan Lerch: This could be the SJS maneuver.
Zach Davis: Jackson trying to snap off the bridging German but Slickie is blocking it with his leg. Big elbow back to Jackson's face from Slickie and the hold is broken. Jackson holds his face as Slickie hits the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to the left leg of Jackson, sending him down to one knee.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie again wasting no time as he grabs Jackson from behind. It looks like he's again going for the T-Bone.
Zach Davis: But Jackson is proving to be too big and too strong as he fights out of the move and pushes Slickie off.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie has to be wondering what it's going to take to bring the big man down.
Zach Davis: Jackson not giving Slickie much time to ponder that one as he charges right at the Hardcore Champ. Slickie trying to avoid the tie up but this time Jackson gets hold of him.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie throwing punches and elbows but Jackson is still able to pull him in for a suplex attempt. He gets him up...
Zach Davis: And Slickie somehow finds a way to shift his weight to drop behind him.
Shannan Lerch: Jackson turns around and Slickie is waiting for him as he snaps off another Omerta...but Jackson catches the foot. He flips Slickie over and applies the Snap Decision.
Zach Davis: And you can see the pain in Slickie's eyes as he tries to get to the ropes. But Jackson has this hold locked in tight and I don't know if the Ace Of Hardcore can hold in much longer.
Shannan Lerch: Wait a second Zach look! Swift's in the ring. I don't know how but Johnathan Swift has crawled back in the ring and he's got that steel chair.
Zach Davis: Swift barely able to move but he uses his last burst of strength to slam the chair into Jackson's back and he releases the hold. Slickie rolls off to the side of the ring holding his ankle as Jackson walks off holding his back.
Shannan Lerch: Swift again swings at Jackson and again he connects with his back. Jackson is feeling these shots, just look at his face.
Zach Davis: Swift swings one more time..and Jackson ducks it. Swift misses wildly and Jackson grabs him from behind before putting him in a Standing Guillotine Choke.
Shannan Lerch: Listen to this crowd Zach, they know what's coming next.
Zach Davis: Jackson motioning to the crowd...and then he drops him spine first to the mat with the JackedUp.
Shannan Lerch: Pin attempt!
Shannan Lerch: And Slickie jumps and breaks it up at the last possible second! I swear you couldn't have fit a hair between the ref's hand and the mat.
Zach Davis: Jackson rolls off with a look of frustration on his face as he realizes that he was just that close.
Shannan Lerch: Jackson back up on his feet and now Slickie is too. Jackson pulls him in and delivers a big knee to the midsection that doubles Slickie over. He lifts him up and holds him there.
Zach Davis: And this guy's strength is nothing short of awe inspiring. The blood is just rushing to Slickie's head as Jackson let's him hang in the air.
Shannan Lerch: And then he slams him to the mat with the Back 2 Basics. Pin attempt.
Zach Davis: And somehow Slickie found a way to kick out! This match has become a battle of wills. Who's going to be the first one to give in?
Shannan Lerch: Jackson rolls off of Slickie and gets to his feet. He grabs the chair from the mat and slams it to the mat as he wills Slickie to get up.
Zach Davis: But Slickie is still on the mat trying to recover.
Shannan Lerch: Swift is slowly getting up and I believe Jackson just noticed. He raises the chair up and slams it down on the back of his head. Swift drops to the mat, blood slowly running from a fresh cut on the back of his head. Jackson raises the chair back up and slams it down onto his back, not once, not twice but three times before throwing the chair out of the ring.
Zach Davis: I don't like the look of this Shannan. Swift isn't moving and he's losing blood fast.
Shannan Lerch: Jackson doesn't seem to mind as he grabs him and pulls him to his feet. He picks him up and delivers a brutal backbreaker.
Zach Davis: He isn't stopping with one, as he walks around the ring and let's go with another backbreaker. Jackson lifts him up one more time...and throws him over the top rope with a fallaway slam.
Shannan Lerch: The JackBreaker, simply brutal.
Zach Davis: And Jackson seems rather pleased with himself.
Shannan Lerch: But Jackson turns around and is met with a stiff dropkick from Slickie that sends him into the ropes. Slickie doesn't miss a beat as he whips Jackson across the ring. Jackson comes back and Slickie drops him with a drop toe hold. Jackson tries to get back up but Slickie hits the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to the side of his body.
Zach Davis: Slickie T is on fire right now as he heads for the corner. He hops up top as Jackson is slowly making his way to his feet. Slickie looking to hit the Ace Of Spades as he jumps off the top rope...but Jackson catches him in midair and takes him down with a vicious powerslam.
Shannan Lerch: How in the hell did he pull that off? He just caught Slickie T out of midair and slammed him to the mat like it was nothing.
Zach Davis: Slickie T is down on the mat clutching his back and Jackson flips him over before locking in the Snap Decision.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie T is trying everything that he can to get out of the hold but Jackson has it locked in tight.
Zach Davis: And Slickie taps! I can't believe it but Shaun Jackson has just made the Hardcore Champion Slickie T tap out!
Jackson releases the ankle and drops to his knees in exhaustion as the referee raises his arm in victory.
Shannan Lerch: What an impressive victory for the rookie. He brought everything he had and laid it all out on the line and in the end it paid off.
The referee grabs the Hardcore Title from a ringside official and hands it to Jackson, who stands up and holds it high above his head. He then walks over to the corner and climbs up to the second turnbuckle before holding the title high above his head for the crowd to see.
Zach Davis: I tell you what Shannan, I...wait a second. What the hell?
A camera shot of the crowd is shown and the fan from earlier, still dressed in all black with a clown mask covering his face, is applauding Jackson's win mockingly.
Shannan Lerch: That's the fan that attacked Swift earlier in the match. Why hasn't security had him arrested yet?
At that moment security is seen moving in on the fan, who in turn runs off through the crowd. The camera switches back to Jackson who simply shrugs his shoulders and climbs out of the ring. He throws the Hardcore Title over his shoulder and slaps a few hands as he makes his way up the ramp.
Bobby Burn Segment
The camera cuts backstage, where an unnamed man with long, dark hair is sitting in a chair in the hallway against a wall. His eyes are bloodshot, and the hall is smokey. He exhales smoke O's.
Voice: What the...?!?
Hank Brown, WCF's veteran interviewer, walks into the scene.
Hank Brown: (coughing) What are you...? Who are you...?
We hear the man inhale, and the camera cuts to him.
Man: (exhaling) Hank, Hank, Hank. Chill out, bro. I'm Bobby. You wanna...Burn?
Bobby extends his hand and the joint to Hank, who ponders the offering. The camera cuts.
United States Title Contendership Match
Karl Voronov vs D-Day
Zach Davis: On paper, this looks like a bad day at the office for D-Day.
Shannan Lerch: He’s a veteran, Zach. And this match is for a shot at the U.S. title. I’ll bet he’s got something in store for us tonight.
Zach Davis: We’re about to find out. It’s time to see who’s going to be our number one contender Let’s turn it over to Kyle Steel for the introductions.
The Big Screen blares with a picture of a snowy forest as Karl walks to the stage cuing “Grace” - by Apocalyptica. With his approach to the ring, several large explosions occur on the stage. Once Karl has climbed into the ring he does his signature taunt which involves extending his arms and slowly clinching his fist all the while making a powerful expression. After he clinches his fist he roughly pounds the fist into his chest which accompanied by a large explosion above the ring.
Give Me The Meltdown by Rob Thomas plays in the speakers. The lights are dim.The lights flash on to D-Day walking out to the top of the ramp and falls on his knees and throws his arms in the air, as soon as he throws them in the air fire works go off and surround him. The screen shows all of D-Day moments of his dead and forgotten special move. As also the screen shows a ring then the words in white and in cursive, the words D-Day. When D-Day get in the ring he raises his hands to his name on the screen.
Zach Davis: Ladies and gentlemen, the pomp and circumstance is over. This should be good.
Shannan Lerch: Indeed!
D-Day comes out aggressively, though perhaps unwisely and locks up with Voronov. The crowd seems to appreciate the effort, but the cheers for D-Day turn into cheers for Voronov when he shoves D-Day down onto his back.
Zach Davis: He had to know that wasn’t going to work.
Shannan Lerch: He’s a proud veteran, Zach. He had to try and show Karl that he wasn’t going to be pushed around.
The combatants lock up once again and this time D-Day wraps his bicep around Voronov’s head, applying a headlock. It’s short-lived though when the Big Bruin sends him into the ropes and meets him with a stiff shoulder block on his way back. D-Day gets to his feet looking a little annoyed.
Zach Davis: Can you imagine what it’s like to get knocked down by all that hair?
Shannan Lerch: Eh, I dunno. Some girls like it. Me, not so much. You should focus more on the wrestling and less on Voronov’s hair though. D-Day is going to have to do something different here.
One more time, D-Day locks up with the big guy, but this time D-Day wiggles free and manages to catch Karl with a drop toe hold that sends him to the mat with some struggle. Then the boots come in to the back while Voronov is on the mat, but it’s not long before he’s making his way back to his feet, feeling little wear and tear from the stomps. D-Day catches him with a strong European uppercut on his way back up and heads Voronov into the corner. He goes for the Irish whip to the other side, but Karl reverses it and then attempts to follow D-Day in with a big body avalanche, but D-Day is too quick. He quickly grabs the back of the stunned big man’s head and takes him down with a snapping neckbreaker.
Shannan Lerch: Nicely done to get out of the way and capitalize by D-Day. I told you he’d figure this guy out.
Zach Davis: We’ve still got a long way to go in, I’m thinking. Nicely executed, but it’s going to take more than one neckbreaker to keep that bruiser down.
Both men make it quickly make to their feet, D-Day slightly quicker between the two. He greets Karl with a swift dropkick that takes the big guy reeling back into the corner once again and unloads with a series of stinging chops to Voronov’s hairy chest. The chops don’t seem to faze Voronov though and he takes D-Day by the scruff of the neck and spins him into the corner before measuring D-Day for a big haymaker. Once again D-Day is the quicker man, ducking out of the way and moving behind Voronov. However, the follow-up exchange is more fortunate for Karl this time when he steams out of the corner and knocks D-Day head over heals to the mat with a powerful clothesline.
Zach Davis: Now that is power offense!
Shannan Lerch: Impressive. I’ll admit, that probably would’ve decapitated a non-wrestler. D-Day didn’t get this opportunity by taking off days though.
Voronov bends down to bring D-Day back up to his feet, then wobbles D-Day with a headbutt right to the forehead. Karl wraps his big arms around the waste of D-Day and flings him back over his head, overhead belly to belly style. Then the big guy starts playing to the crowd, beating his chest.
Shannan Lerch: Never turn your back on your opponent.
Zach Davis: Even I know that, even if you do outweigh him by seventy pounds or more.
Sensing his opportunity to regain control, D-Day gets to his feet as quickly as possible and then heads towards Voronov with as much speed as his groggy body will allow. Voronov turns around just in time to catch the leaping D-Day right out of mid-air. The crowd gasps at this display of power, but when Karl fails to execute a move immediately thereafter, D-Day is able to use his momentum and swing his body around the back of the unsuspecting big guy and deliver a beautifully executed and slightly modified float over DDT. The crowd pops even louder for this maneuver.
Zach Davis: Alright… That was nice.
Shannan Lerch: I told you D-Day wasn’t here by mistake. And you’re not going to see maneuvers like that performed in a whole lot of other wrestling federations.
Without any assistance from D-Day, the Bruin makes it back to his feet. D-Day is quick to continue the offense, clubbing away at Voronov’s head, which backs the big guy into the ropes. D-Day whips him across and meets Karl in the middle with a clothes line that staggers Karl. A second clothesline, followed up by a standing dropdick, take the bear down onto his back. Voronov is a little slower to get up this time and D-Day takes hold of him by the head and gets a run for the turn-buckle. D-Day circles around the buckles for a tornado DDT, but Voronov is able to use his massive strength, whip D-Day around and then lift him up and powerbomb him down sit-out style for a pin attempt.
Shannan Lerch: Can we agree that both of these men are in impressive form tonight, Zach?
Zach Davis: That was incredible! The tenacity to kick out of that move!
That maneuver seems to take some of the starch out of D-Day, but he uses the ropes to help himself back up while Voronov shakes out the cobwebs from D-Day’s offense beforehand. Karl grabs D-Day by the wrist and whips him into the opposite ropes, then takes a run towards D-Day as he’s headed back center, then powers D-Day down to the mat with a double-axehandle blow.
Zach Davis: That’s old school.
Rather than go for a cover, Voronov throws D-Day through the ropes and to the outside. D-Day gets up as fast as possible, seizing this as an opportunity to capitalize. Voronov follows to the outside, but he’s caught on the ring apron and dragged down, bouncing his head on the edge of the mat. Stunned, he staggers into position and D-Day lights him up with a superkick, putting the big guy on his backside. D-Day drags Voronov back up and rolls him into the ring.
Zach Davis: Well, that caught Karl’s attention.
From the outside, D-Day attempts to sunset flip over the ropes and back of Voronov, but the three hundred pounder wont go down, so D-Day flips his legs up and in front of Voronov’s shoulders, uses his legs to hold on to Voronov while spinning around to grab the ropes, climbs down the opposite side of the ropes, grabs hold of Voronov’s ankles and locks in a tarantula hold. The referee starts to count to five and D-Day is forced to break the hold at four and a half so that he isn’t disqualified.
Shannan Lerch: How cool was that?
Zach Davis: D-Day definitely wasn’t going to get that sunset flip to work. Truly innovative variation of the tarantula submission. I guess that’s one way of escaping from Voronov.
The crowd starts to chant “This is awesome!” while D-Day climbs up to the top rope.
Shannan Lerch: Are we going to see a frog splash?
D-Day leaps from the turnbuckle high into the air, but comes crashing down onto the canvas and doubles over, writhing in pain after Karl has rolled out of the way. Voronov gets up to his feet and shakes loose a few more cobwebs, then hooks one arm around D-Day’s head and another under D-Day’s leg, then flips him over t-bone suplex style. D-Day flies all the way to opposite corner of the ring, and adrenaline carries him back up to his feet where Voronov comes charging through with a clothesline in the corner and D-Day falls down to the canvas again.
Zach Davis: No frog splash, but a devastating combination from the Big Bruin.
Shannan Lerch: D-Day is having a hard time landing the impact move to really keep Voronov down.
Zach Davis: He needs to find it soon or this match could be over… In fact, it may be over now!
Voronov rolls D-Day over onto his stomach and goes for the cover.
Voronov looks up at the referee, annoyed, and then smashes his fist into the canvas. D-Day receives some help back up to his feet from Voronov, and then an express delivery Irish whip back to the other corner of the ring. Voronov charges in once again, this time going for another avalanche as he did earlier in the match and again D-Day has the counter, grabbing Voronov by the arm, flipping up and locking his body around the back of Karl and his legs around Karl’s other arm. The added weight of D-Day on his back takes Voronov’s shoulders down to the mat and the referee starts to count.
As Voronov gets out of the pin, D-Day is thrown back, and into the referee. The ref hits his head and rolls over, holding it in pain. Suddenly, D-Day's tag team partner, Marcus Moneybanks, runs out from the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: What is he doing here?
Voronov is up and looks at Marcus, yelling at him to get out of here. Marcus yells back at Voronov... and D-Day rolls Voronov up from behind, just as the ref is once again paying attention to the match, of course!
Zach Davis: WHAT?!
Shannan Lerch: D-Day wins!
Marcus once again exits throughout the crowd. Voronov gets up, livid, not believing he lost to a rollup like that.
Zach Davis: D-Day sure did get lucky! That was anyone's match, Shannan, they gave it their all.
Shannan Lerch: These two really went at it tonight..
Zach Davis: I expected no less, they put on a clinic!
Just then all the lights in the arena cut out.
Zach Davis: What the hell?!
Shannan Lerch: Get your hand off my leg, Zach! This is freaky enough. What's going on?!
As the arena has a hush over it, the lights slowly fade back up.
Zach Davis: HOLY SHIT!!
Shannan Lerch: Where did they come from?!
We soon find out what the 2 are referring to. Standing all around the ring are The Black Masks, and in the center of the ring stands the Hooded Man.
Shannan Lerch: D-Day and Voronov are out cold on the canvas here, what the hell just happened?!
Zach Davis: I think the Black Masks happened.. and that damned Hooded bastard!
As the Hooded Man stands in the center of the ring with his head slightly bowed, Karl Voronov and D-Day lie either side of him totally unconscious.
Zach Davis: Look at how those men stare at the Hooded assailant, its as though he is their Messiah. This is completely surreal..
Shannan Lerch: I me--- oh what is this...
The silence returns as the lights once again cut out.
Zach Davis: I know we are cutting the budget but this is beyond a joke!
Shannan Lerch: I really doubt this is due to our financial situation at the moment..
The lights once again fade on.
Shannan Lerch: Where did everybody go?!
The entire ring is empty, The Black Masks are gone and so is the Hooded Man, D-Day and Voronov.
Zach Davis: This is just bizarre..
As the entire audience is left confused, we cut to a commercial.
Bobby Burn/Hank Brown Segment
Bobby and Hank are lounging in the hallway. Both look silly, and Hank's tie is off and his shirt unbuttoned.
Hank Brown: And that's how I got crabs a second time.
Bobby Burn: Rough, bro. Rough.
Two security officers, one black, one white, and both extremely large with no neck, walk into the scene.
Black officer: Hank, what the hell are you doin?
Hank Brown: I was..uh...
Bobby Burn: Interview, dude. Interview...
Bobby offers the joint to the security officer, who folds his arms.
Black officer: Hank, Seth wants yo bitch ass back in his office to have a word. And he wants this little punk gone. (To Bobby) You gonna be a problem, little man?
Bobby Burn: Uhhh....
Hank Brown: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Take it easy, Teddy! How about this? We're low on bodies, right? I'll talk to Seth, and Bobby here will wrestle next week, against anyone, for nothing. Is that fair, Bobby?
Bobby Burn: You mean you want me to wrestle?
Teddy: (paying no attention to Bobby) Aight, Hank. That sounds fair. But the motherfucker better show up. Or I'ma have to regulate.
Adam Young vs Ace Garrison vs Doc Henry
"Disposeable Teens" by Marilyn Manson starts playing out steps Adam Young in a long black leather trench coat with a Texas Flag on the back. The fans erupt chanting BTJ as he starts towards the ring. He stops halfway and throws his arms out in a Raven pose. He once again starts towards the ring with his trademark icey glare. He climbs up onto the ring apron and slides in under the top rope. He climbs up onto the second turnbuckle and the fans roar with chants of BTJ again. Adam drops down and slings his coat off ready for battle.
"Control" by Puddle of Mudd hits the speaker system. The speaker brushes aside and Ace Garrison appears onto the stage. He stands there for a moment and looks amongst the fans, who are greeting him with boos! He smirks before making his way down the ramp. Ace walks up the ring steps, wipes his feet on the mat, and enters through the middle rope. He quickly walks towards the farthest corner and climbs up it. Once again, he looks amongst the crowd before smirking and jumping down.
Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue hits, and Doc Henry walks out from the back. The fans boo as he walks to the ring before rolling in and standing in his corner.
Young, Garrison and Henry are all attached by chains as the cage begins to lower.
Zach Davis: This seems like it might be a very violent matchup.
Shannan Lerch: Of course! To win the match you have to either knock out an opponent or make them quit.
Young quickly tanks on both Garrison and Henry's chains, causing them to fall to the mat. He runs up to them and starts stomping on them quickly.
Zach Davis: This IS Adam Young's specialty.. we just might have a new TV Champ here tonight.
The first moments of the match are Adam Young brutalizing his opponents with their chains. He chokes them, smashes their faces, etc.. He puts Henry in a Dragon Sleeper, but behind him Ace Garrison is up and starts choking Young with the chains!
Shannan Lerch: Turnabout is fair play!
Henry gets up and starts kicking Young while Garrison keeps choking him! Garrison eventually releases him and he falls to the mat gasping for air. Garrison and Henry then brawl amongst each other, until Henry thumbs Garrison in the eye and then follows up with a DDT!
Zach Davis: Doc isn't too much of a technical expert so he might have to come up with some submissions if he wants to make his opponent give up.
Henry quickly puts Garrison in a Sleeper, and Garrison begins fading out. The ref checks him... but no, Young dives and breaks up the Sleeper. He quickly picks up Henry and hits the Spindletop!
Shannan Lerch: How did he do that when they're both connected by chains-
Zach Davis: Don't think about that, Shannan, just say its amazing.
Young then puts Garrison into various submission holds, trying to make him quit. The King Crab Hold, Paradise Lock, and the Koji Clutch. But Garrison won't tap to any of them. Soon Young gives up on the holds and viciously starts stomping at Garrison and choking him once more with the chains.
Shannan Lerch: Garrison is in trouble here. If he wants to win the belt back he better pick it up.
Henry comes from behind Young and executes a German Suplex! Doc then climbs up on the cage and pulls on Young's chain, once again choking him!
Zach Davis: Oof! All of these guys are gonna get fired.
The ref asks Young if he wants to quit, but he refuses. However, Garrison quickly yanks on the chain connected to Henry, pulling him off the cage, and hitting him with the Ace High!
Shannan Lerch: Out of nowhere! Damn!
Quickly, Garrison grabs Henry from behind and puts him into the Final Clutch!
Zach Davis: Can Doc Henry withstand this!?
After several moments... Doc Henry passes out. The ref calls for the bell.
Shannan Lerch: Ace Garrison gets the win!
The cage begins to go back up as the ref releases Garrison from his chains. Garrison grabs the Television Title and slides out of the ring, backtracking up the ramp.
Zach Davis: The Television Title has come back to Ace Garrison. And I don't know if Garrison is ever going to let himself lose it again.
D-Day/Karl Voronov Segment
Shannan Lerch: Well that was unique! Our first ever 3-Way Dogpound match, certainly entertaining!
Zach Davis: Absolutely, and what an impressive performance by all three competitors..
The lights suddenly cut completely out.
Zach Davis: This again?!
Shannan Lerch: Thats it, i'm calling Seth!
Two spotlights beam around the arena until suddenly they stop, focusing on 2 points directly next to each other on the West wall of the arena.
Shannah Lerch: Oh my god.. am I seeing what I think i'm seeing...
Zach Davis: Thats sick.. it's beyond wrestling.. folks this has been taken to the extreme and we apologize..
On the wall battered and bloody with cuts on their bodies hang D-Day and Karl Voronov, almost as though they have been crucified, their bodies limp and broken apart.
Shannan Lerch: This isn't wrestling anymore..
A third spot lite shines on, and on the East side of the building is the Hooded Man. He looks over intensely at what we can only presume is his handy work, at his feet, almost like a wall of protection, kneel the Black Masks.
Zach Davis: Who the hell is this guy?! He has 15 maybe 20 grown men bowed at his feet in worship..
Shannan Lerch: If D-Day and Voronov are any indication of how he punishes his "disciples" then I think we all have something to be concerned about..
The lights cut out.
Shannan Lerch: Im actually scared to see what will be waiting for us when they come back on..
The lights fire back up, almost as though they are too bright, a white light flashes the arena and when it subsides back to regular lighting the Hooded Man and Black Masks are gone but Voronov and D-Day still hang from the wall battered and broken.
Zach Davis: Can we please get some help for those 2 wrestlers?
Shannan Lerch: We have a main event to get underway soon.. and Seth's confrontation with Gravedigger.. but this has really shaken the evening.. and possibly everybody in attendance..
Seth Lerch/Gravedigger Confrontation
Master of Puppets hits.
Zach Davis: Uh oh. Here we go.
Shannan Lerch: Seth claims he has news for Gravedigger or something... this is going to be interesting.
Seth walks to the ring, a big smile on his face. He slides in and grabs a mic.
Seth Lerch: Well, I don't have much to say right now. Gravedigger... get out here.
Change by Deftones hits and out steps Gravedigger. He's in a suit and looks better than ever as he heads to the ring, somewhat cautious.
Zach Davis: There is the former multi-time World Champion. What does he have to say?
Shannan Lerch: I have a feeling that depends on what Seth has to say..
Gravedigger slides in and also grabs a microphone.
Gravedigger: What do you want, Seth? Are you here to tell me you've assembled yet another team of bumbling idiot lawyers that are going to provide me with another two years worth of loopholes to exploit?
Seth Lerch: No, not exactly.
Gravedigger: Are you here to tell me that I really DID win, and that WCF's attempted restart has failed? Are you bankrupt, Seth?
Seth Lerch: Nope.
Gravedigger: Are your ratings in a slump? Do you want to sign a blockbuster Gravedigger vs Greenfever World Title match? Because I'm going to need A LOT of money to step into the ring with that maniac.
Seth Lerch: Nah. Actually, ratings are doing just fine.
Gravedigger: What, then?
Seth Lerch: I'm here to rub this whole show in your face. I'm here to rub the fact that WCF IS STILL STANDING in your face.
Gravedigger looks angry and the crowd ooohh's.
Seth Lerch: I'm here to tell you, Gravedigger.... that I'VE won. This is it. This is the last chapter in the Seth Lerch vs Gravedigger feud, and I've come out on top. Granted, you destroyed my company. You did. I'll give you that. From the very beginning there was nothing I could have done to stop that inevitable conclusion... and there is nothing YOU could have done to stop me from coming back.
The fans cheer.
Seth Lerch: But this IS a new company. And have you thought about that? New talent contracts... new contracts altogether. No loopholes, Gravedigger. Nothing to exploit. And there is only one man that makes hiring decisions around here.. me. No one gets into this company without me signing the contract. And you know what that means?
A look of understanding comes across Gravedigger's face.
Seth Lerch: This is it. This is your last appearance in WCF, Gravedigger, because after tonight I'm never letting you back. If you attack someone backstage, I'm going to ban cameras from filming it. You're not going to be shown on any of my shows ever again. This feud has reached the end, Gravedigger... I'm NEVER signing your contract. You're done. Now.. and I'm very happy to say this, once and for all.... GET OUT OF MY RING.
Gravedigger laughs and goes to attack Seth, but Seth steps back and several security guards come out of nowhere to tackle Gravedigger. He does his best to fight them back, and for a few seconds Seth is uncertain, but eventually the numbers game catches up to Gravedigger and they get him handcuffed. They pull Gravedigger out of the ring and lead him to the back, and he's screaming all the while. Seth is smiling, and the crowd is doing the "NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE!" chant.
Zach Davis: So long, Gravedigger! Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Seth Lerch: Oh, and Gravedigger?
Gravedigger turns, anger in his eyes.
Seth Lerch: There is no way in HELL I'm signing any masked wrestlers for the next few months, trust me on that!
The crowd laughs as security and Gravedigger disappear to the back. Master of Puppets hits and Seth leaves as well.
